Aurora Weed Delivery, Same Day

Aurora sits on Yonge Street between Richmond Hill and Newmarket, and GasDank delivers to every part of it on the day you order. This guide covers the window, the costs, the handoff at the driver's car and the Ontario rules that apply from Aurora Village to the Highway 404 side of town.

Updated October 2026

Weed delivery in Aurora

Short answer: Yes. GasDank delivers cannabis anywhere in Aurora the same day, in a time window that our team texts you after the order is placed. Aurora is an outer zone town, so the minimum is $60, delivery costs $20, and delivery costs nothing at $160 and above. You pay with exact cash at the driver's car or by Interac e-Transfer, which carries a $5 fee and must arrive before dispatch. Every customer must be 19 or older, and new clients go through an ID check before a first order is processed.

What same-day delivery looks like in Aurora

You order on the GasDank website, with no app and no account. When the order comes in, a member of our team texts you a delivery window, and later that day a driver meets you at their car with the order.

The window is set by the day, not by a stopwatch. Yonge Street and Wellington Street both slow down at rush hour, and snow can stretch every trip between Richmond Hill and Newmarket. Busy days play a part as well.

Whatever the conditions, the window you receive by text already allows for them. When the order has to arrive before something specific, such as guests coming over, give yourself a wide margin and say so in the notes.

The handoff itself is brief and discreet. Your phone may ring or buzz with a message from the driver on the final approach, so keep it nearby. Everything on the menu, from flower to concentrates, can go out on the same run.

Ordering to Aurora, start to finish

From the first click to the handoff, here is the sequence for an Aurora address.

  1. Shop the menu

Look through vapes, CBD, flower and edibles, and add what you want. An Aurora cart has to reach $60 before checkout will accept it.

  2. Enter your Aurora address

Street number, unit if there is one, Aurora as the town, and your postal code. Checkout uses the town and postal code to place the order in the outer zone automatically.

  3. Add a meeting note

Tell us where the driver should stop, such as the street in front of a heritage house in Aurora Village or the visitor spaces of a townhouse complex.

  4. Pick cash or e-Transfer

Cash is paid at the car and should be exact. An e-Transfer adds $5, and its details arrive by text or email for you to send before dispatch.

  5. Confirm you are 19+

Check the age box. If you are new to GasDank, your ID is verified before the order is processed.

  6. Meet the driver

Our team texts the window, and when the driver arrives you walk out to their car for a quick, discreet handoff.

Aurora versus a Whitchurch-Stouffville address

Aurora's eastern neighbour, Whitchurch-Stouffville, is outside the same-day zones. If you split time between the two, or order for family over there, here is the difference.

Aurora neighbourhoods we deliver to

One price covers the whole town. These notes help the driver find the right spot.

Aurora Village

The historic core along Yonge Street around Wellington Street, with heritage homes, storefronts and the Aurora Cultural Centre on Church Street. A side street makes a calmer meeting spot than Yonge itself.

Bayview Wellington

The east side around Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East. If you live in a townhouse development, list its name next to your unit number so the driver turns in at the right entrance.

Aurora Heights

Established residential streets. If your house number is hard to read from the road, mention the colour of the house or the car in the driveway.

Around Sheppard's Bush

Homes near Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area. Meet at your street address, not at a trailhead or parking lot.

Near Aurora GO station

Streets around the station on Wellington Street East. Commuter parking fills up on weekdays, so a residential side street is the better meeting point.

Northeast Aurora

Newer subdivisions toward Leslie Street, where crescents can carry similar names. Add the nearest main road to your notes.

West Aurora

Streets toward Bathurst Street and the King Township line, where some homes sit on larger lots. Tell us if you will be waiting at the road or at the front door.

What 30 grams of dried cannabis equals

Ontario measures the public possession limit in dried cannabis and converts everything else. Edible and liquid figures are the weight of the product itself, not the THC inside it.

Aurora prices and the outer zone

GasDank's core zone is the City of Toronto plus Mississauga and Malton. Aurora falls in the outer zone, alongside Newmarket, Richmond Hill, King and other cities around the GTA.

In Aurora, that means a $60 minimum order. Carts under $160 pay $20 for delivery, and carts of $160 or more pay nothing for it.

Checkout sorts this out from your town and postal code. A cart below $60 cannot be submitted for same-day delivery, and checkout says exactly how far short it is.

The $5 Interac e-Transfer fee is the only other charge you might see, and only if you choose that payment method. For reference, the core zone works on a $40 minimum and a $15 fee, so an order sent to a Toronto address is priced lower.

Paying for an Aurora order

Choose between cash at the handoff and Interac e-Transfer before dispatch. Those are the only two options.

Cash has one rule: bring the exact amount. Drivers carry little or no change, and the handoff at the car is meant to be brief.

For an e-Transfer, the payment details come to you by text or email after you order. Send the money promptly, because the order waits until it arrives, and expect the $5 fee on top of your total.

An optional tip for the driver can be added at checkout.

Cannabis law terms, in plain English

Public place

Anywhere outside a private residence that people can use, such as a sidewalk or a park. The 30 gram possession limit applies there.

Enclosed public place

An indoor space open to the public, such as a mall or a theatre. Smoking or vaping cannabis is banned inside.

Equivalent

The conversion Ontario uses to count other forms against the dried limit, such as 15 grams of edible product for each gram of dried cannabis.

Residence

For home growing, the whole household. The 4 plant cap belongs to the residence, not to each adult living in it.

Authorized source

Where Ontario requires home growers to obtain their seeds or seedlings. Starting material from anywhere else does not meet the rule.

Sheltered outdoor area

A covered outdoor space such as a bus shelter. Ontario bans smoking or vaping cannabis in these spots.

Summary offence

The lower tier of the THC driving rules, for 2 to under 5 nanograms per millilitre of blood. It carries a fine of up to $1,000.

Hybrid offence

The higher tier, for 5 nanograms or more of THC per millilitre of blood. It can mean up to 10 years in prison.

Onset

The gap between taking cannabis and feeling it. Health Canada gives 30 minutes to 2 hours for edibles and seconds to minutes for smoking or vaping.

Dispatch

The moment your order leaves with a driver. An Interac e-Transfer has to arrive before it.

Heritage homes, townhouses and new builds

Aurora's housing ranges from 19th-century homes in the village to townhouse complexes and newer subdivisions toward Leslie Street. The meeting note you leave should match the building.

In Aurora Village, some homes have side doors or rear entrances off a driveway. Mention the entrance you use, and give the nearest corner on Yonge or Wellington.

For a condo townhouse, the useful details are the complex name, your unit and which road you enter from. Visitor spaces near the entrance make a good meeting spot.

On newer streets, houses can look alike after dark. A porch light and a visible house number help more than a paragraph of directions.

First orders and ID in Aurora

Ontario's minimum age for recreational cannabis is 19, and it covers buying, possessing, using and growing. It is the same age the province uses for alcohol and tobacco.

Each customer confirms that age at checkout. On top of the checkbox, new clients go through an ID verification before their first Aurora order is processed.

You only go through it once, which is why a first order can take longer than the ones after it. Use valid photo ID in the name you order under.

Ontario cannabis rules in Aurora

Provincial and federal law set the rules below, and Aurora's own bylaws can add local limits on where you smoke. The number on each card links to the official source.

Who can buy

Only adults 19 and older may buy, have, use or grow recreational cannabis in Ontario.[1]

How much in public

The most an adult may carry in public is 30 grams of dried cannabis, about one ounce, or its equivalent.[4]

Home growing

Up to 4 plants per residence, for personal use, started from seeds or seedlings obtained from an authorized source, with any lease or condo rule able to forbid it.[1]

Indoor bans

Enclosed public places, workplaces, and the shared indoor spaces of condos, apartment buildings and college or university residences are all off limits for smoking or vaping cannabis.[1]

Outdoor bans

No smoking or vaping on school grounds, playgrounds or publicly owned sports fields or within 20 metres of them, on restaurant and bar patios or within 9 metres, or in bus shelters.[1]

Cars and boats

Cannabis may not be used in any form inside a car or boat that is on the move or will be operated later.[1]

Impaired driving

With 2 ng to less than 5 ng of THC per ml of blood, a driver faces a fine of up to $1,000, and at 5 ng or more the possible sentence rises to 10 years in prison.[3]

Edibles

Health Canada notes that edible effects can begin 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating and last as long as 24 hours.[2]

Aurora delivery dos and don'ts

A short list of the habits that keep an Aurora delivery quick and uneventful.

Do

  • Put your unit and complex name in the notes
  • Name the side door if your house has one
  • Turn on the porch light once it gets dark
  • Have exact cash ready, or send the e-Transfer early
  • Keep edibles in their labelled packaging

Don't

  • Meeting the driver at a trailhead or a GO lot instead of your address
  • Expecting same-day delivery to a Whitchurch-Stouffville address
  • Smoking in a bus shelter or on a restaurant patio
  • Doubling up on an edible before 2 hours have passed
  • Driving home after an edible at a friend's place

Edibles and the 2 hour rule

Slow in, long out

Smoked or vaped cannabis takes effect within seconds to minutes. Edibles wait on digestion, and Health Canada puts the start anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours, with effects lasting up to 24 hours.

The 2 hour figure is the one to remember. Take a small amount of a single product, then wait the full 2 hours before you decide on more. Eat a meal first and skip the alcohol.

Edibles look like ordinary snacks, so store them in their labelled packaging on a high shelf that children and pets cannot get to. The THC and CBD numbers on each product page, where listed, make comparing two products easier than guessing.

Driving in Aurora after cannabis

York Regional Police enforce impaired driving laws on Aurora's streets, from Yonge Street to Wellington Street and every subdivision in between.

The federal limits come in two steps. A driver with 2 to just under 5 nanograms of THC per millilitre of blood commits a summary offence, and the fine can climb to $1,000. At 5 nanograms or more the offence is hybrid, and the penalty can reach 10 years in prison. Alcohol plus cannabis has its own combined line: 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood alongside 2.5 nanograms of THC.

Aurora GO station on Wellington Street East is on the Barrie line, the Viva and YRT routes on Yonge Street pass through the village, and taxis and rideshares cover the rest. Book the ride before the first edible, not after.

Smoking rules around Aurora's landmarks

Indoors, patios and kids' spaces are out

Provincially, lighting up is legal at home and across a wide range of outdoor public spaces. The Town of Aurora, landlords and property owners can narrow that, so a posted sign always wins. One wrinkle: a home that is also a workplace, such as a long-term care home, does not count as a private residence under the rule.

The Aurora Cultural Centre and other enclosed public places are off limits, as are hallways, lobbies and other shared indoor space in condo and apartment buildings. Any restaurant or bar patio in Aurora Village falls under the patio ban, which extends 9 metres beyond each patio.

School grounds, children's playgrounds, publicly owned sports fields and the grounds of community recreational facilities each carry a 20 metre buffer. Trails and conservation lands such as Sheppard's Bush can have their own posted rules, so follow the signs there.

Growing at home in Aurora

Four plants per residence

Adults 19 and older can grow up to 4 cannabis plants per residence in Ontario, for personal use. The limit is per home, so a household of three adults still has 4 plants in total.

Start with seeds or seedlings from an authorized source, as provincial law requires. If you rent, or own in a condo or townhouse corporation, check the lease or rules first, since they can ban growing even where the province allows it.

Keep plants and harvested cannabis away from children, and remember that the 30 gram limit applies the moment any of it leaves the house.

Winter in Aurora and what it does to timing

Snow is the biggest variable in an Aurora delivery window. Yonge Street and the side streets in newer subdivisions get slick after a storm, and every driver in town, ours included, slows down.

Because you will be walking out to a car, a shovelled walkway and boots by the door make the handoff easy. Brush snow off the house number or the mailbox, and leave the porch light on once it gets dark.

On a stormy day with timing that matters, order earlier rather than later. The window in your confirmation text sets expectations for that day's conditions.

Choosing from the menu

Dried flower runs from value options up to AAA and AAAA, the highest grade GasDank carries. AAAA weed is graded on look, smell and burn, while AAA covers everyday smoking at a lower price per gram.

Pre-rolls save you the rolling. Edibles include gummies and chocolates, vapes come as cartridges and disposables, and concentrates such as hash and shatter pack far more THC per gram than flower. CBD products suit people who want little or no high.

Flower potency appears as a THC percentage of the dried bud's weight, while edibles list THC in milligrams. A higher percentage means stronger flower, but for edibles the milligram figure is the one to measure a dose by. Strain type and grade are listed too, stock changes often, and the deals page shows what is on offer at the moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does GasDank deliver to Aurora, Ontario?

Yes. Same-day delivery covers the whole town, from Aurora Village and Aurora Heights to Bayview Wellington and the newer streets toward Leslie Street. You order on the website, our team texts a delivery window, and you meet the driver at their car. There is no app to install and no account to create.

How soon will my Aurora order arrive?

Aurora orders arrive the same day, inside the window texted to you once the order is in. Traffic on Yonge Street and Wellington Street, snow or rain, and the day's order volume all shape that window. A first order can take longer, because a new client's ID has to be verified before anything is processed.

What is the minimum order for an Aurora address?

The minimum is $60, because Aurora is in the outer delivery zone. Below that amount, checkout holds the order back and displays the difference you still need. Delivery then costs $20, or nothing if your Aurora order totals $160 or more.

Is delivery free in Aurora?

Delivery to Aurora is free on orders of $160 or more. Below that, the delivery fee is $20. Checkout applies this from your address and shows it before you confirm. Choosing Interac e-Transfer adds a $5 payment fee regardless of the delivery charge, while cash at the car adds nothing extra.

Can I pay the Aurora driver in cash?

Yes. Cash is accepted on every Aurora order and handed to the driver at their car. Count out the precise total beforehand, because drivers may not be able to break a large bill. The alternative is Interac e-Transfer, with a $5 fee, sent after you receive the details by text or email and before the order is dispatched.

Why does my first order need an ID check?

GasDank verifies ID for every new client before a first order is processed, on top of the 19+ confirmation everyone makes at checkout. It keeps orders limited to adults of legal age in Ontario. It happens once, so a first Aurora order can take a little longer, and later orders do not repeat it.

How old do I need to be to order in Aurora?

At least 19. That is the provincial age for buying, having, using or growing recreational cannabis, and it is the same age Ontario applies to alcohol and tobacco. Aurora has no different rule, and GasDank serves only adults who meet it.

Do you deliver to Whitchurch-Stouffville from Aurora?

Not by same-day delivery. Whitchurch-Stouffville addresses ship by mail order, which is paid by Interac e-Transfer only, has no minimum and usually arrives 24 to 72 hours after it ships. If someone there wants same-day delivery, the order has to go to an Aurora or other same-day address where they can meet the driver.

How much cannabis can I carry in public in Aurora?

An adult can carry up to 30 grams of dried cannabis, about one ounce, or its equivalent in public. Ontario converts other forms, so 30 grams of dried equals 150 grams of fresh cannabis, 450 grams of edible product, 2,100 grams of liquid product or 7.5 grams of concentrate. That limit holds across Ontario, Aurora included.

Is smoking cannabis allowed at Sheppard's Bush?

Provincial law permits lighting up in a range of outdoor public spaces, but conservation lands and town property can carry their own posted rules, so check the signs at Sheppard's Bush before you light up. Provincial bans still apply everywhere in Aurora, including the 20 metre buffers around schools, playgrounds and sports fields, and bus shelters.

Can I grow cannabis in an Aurora townhouse?

Ontario allows up to 4 plants per residence for adults 19 and older, for personal use, grown from seeds or seedlings from an authorized source. In a condo townhouse or a rental, the condo rules or lease can forbid growing, so check those documents before you buy seeds.

When will an edible start working?

Health Canada says effects from eating or drinking cannabis can begin 30 minutes to 2 hours after you take it, and can last up to 24 hours. That is much slower than smoking or vaping. Take a small amount, wait the full 2 hours before having more, avoid alcohol, and do not drive afterward.

Is the delivery discreet in Aurora?

Yes. The order changes hands at the driver's car in a few quiet moments, and nobody needs to knock on your door. Drivers sometimes send a text or call on the way. If you ever order by mail to an address outside the delivery zones, it ships in discreet packaging with tracking sent by email.

Do you deliver to King City and Newmarket too?

Yes. King Township, which takes in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg, and Newmarket to the north are both same-day towns in the outer zone, priced exactly like Aurora. Richmond Hill, to the south, is in the outer zone as well, so all of Aurora's neighbours except Whitchurch-Stouffville get same-day delivery.

How do I contact GasDank about an Aurora order?

Reach customer service at 647-660-7351 by phone or text, 8 AM to 2 AM Eastern (until 3 AM Thursday to Saturday). A text is the simplest way to correct a unit number or move the meeting spot after you order, and replying to your confirmation message keeps everything in one thread.
