Same-Day Weed Delivery in Markham

Markham orders come by car the same day, whether the address is a tower in Markham Centre, a laneway home in Cornell or a house off Kennedy Road. Most arrive within 1 to 2 hours once our text confirms the window. This page sets out the costs, the handoff and the provincial rules in plain terms.

Updated October 2026

Weed delivery in Markham
Short answer

Yes. GasDank brings cannabis to any Markham address on the day you order, typically 1 to 2 hours after our team texts to lock in your delivery window. As an outer zone city, Markham carries a $60 minimum and a $20 delivery charge, which drops to nothing once the cart reaches $160 or more. Order on the website, then hand the driver exact cash or pay ahead by Interac e-Transfer for an extra $5. You need to be 19 or older, and first-time customers clear an ID check before that first order goes out.

From cart to curb in Markham

Everything starts on the GasDank website. You will not need an app or an account: pick your products, enter the Markham address and choose how to pay. After the order lands, someone on our team sends a text with your delivery window, and the order goes out with a driver.

Expect most Markham deliveries to arrive 1 to 2 hours after that text. Where you live and what the roads are doing decide the rest. Markham is wide, stretching from Steeles Avenue north past Major Mackenzie Drive, and from Yonge Street in Thornhill out to the Pickering line. Thornhill and Cornell sit at opposite ends of the city, and Highway 7 at rush hour slows every trip between them.

You collect the order at the driver's car. The exchange is short and low-key, and nobody steps into your home or your building. The driver may call or text as they get close, so keep the phone nearby.

If an edible is part of the order, read the Health Canada note just below first. Eating cannabis runs on a much slower clock than smoking it.

“If you eat or drink cannabis, these effects can occur within 30 minutes to 2 hours and can last up to 24 hours.”

Markham's outer zone pricing, explained

Same-day pricing at GasDank comes in two zones. The core zone is Toronto and its former boroughs, plus Mississauga and Malton. Markham sits in the outer zone with nearby cities such as Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Pickering and Newmarket, and the full list lives on the delivery page.

A Markham order needs at least $60 in the cart. Under $160, delivery adds $20. At $160 or more it costs nothing. Checkout works out the zone from your city and postal code without any input from you, and if the cart is short of the minimum it blocks the order and shows the amount still needed.

Cross Steeles Avenue and the math changes. Scarborough and North York addresses on the south side are core zone orders: $40 minimum, $15 delivery, free from $80. Pricing follows the address typed at checkout, not where you sleep, so an order for a friend south of Steeles is billed as Toronto.

One charge sits outside the zone system. Paying by Interac e-Transfer adds $5, on top of any delivery fee.

Cornell homes with a rear lane

Front street or back lane

Cornell was laid out around rear lanes. Lots of homes face a park or a narrow street, with the garage tucked behind on a laneway. Lovely to live with, puzzling to deliver to.

Since you walk out to the driver's car, both of you need to pick the same side of the house. If the car stops out front while you stand by the garage, the exchange stalls. One line in the order notes settles it: back lane, or front street.

Rows of Cornell townhouses can also blur together from behind a windshield. A unit number, a door colour and the closest cross street, Ninth Line and Highway 7 for example, beat a paragraph of directions.

Condo towers in Markham Centre and along Highway 7

Pick one door and name it

Many Markham addresses are condo towers, especially around the Civic Centre and the Flato Markham Theatre in Markham Centre, and along Highway 7 between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road.

Because the exchange happens at the car, there is no buzzer code to share and no name to leave with the concierge. Give the tower name or street number and say which door you will come out of. Big buildings often face one street at the front and another at the parking ramp, and naming the right side spares everyone a phone call.

The building has rules of its own, backed by the province. Smoking or vaping cannabis is banned in the indoor common areas of condos and apartment buildings, so hallways, lobbies, gyms and party rooms are out. A condo corporation can go further, on balconies for instance, and its rules can ban growing. Read the declaration before you light up or plant a seed.

Six steps to a Markham delivery

Here is the order from start to finish, with the Markham detail that matters at each stage.

Step 1

Build the cart

Start with the flower menu, which runs from value grades up to AAAA, or look at vapes and gummies. Keep one eye on the subtotal, because checkout will not release a Markham order until it reaches $60.

Step 2

Type the address the Canada Post way

Street number, unit, city and postal code, spelled the way they appear on your mail. Markham codes begin with L and Toronto codes begin with M, and checkout reads both the city and the code when it sets the zone.

Step 3

Leave a note about the meeting spot

Front street, rear lane, or the main door of your tower. In a newer subdivision, add the nearest cross street as well.

Step 4

Pick a payment method

Exact cash at the car, or an Interac e-Transfer for $5 extra. Transfers need to clear before the order is dispatched.

Step 5

Confirm your age

Tick the 19+ box. A first order also waits on an ID check for new clients, so give yourself some slack the first time.

Step 6

Answer the text

Our team texts the delivery window. Keep the phone handy afterward, since the driver may call or text on approach.

Markham neighbourhoods on the route

Every Markham address pays the same outer zone price, Unionville and Cornell alike. These notes cover what helps the driver in each part of the city.

UnionvilleMarkham VillageCornellThornhill, east of YongeMilliken MillsMarkham CentreCathedraltownAngus GlenBox Grove
  • Unionville: Historic Main Street Unionville and the streets around Toogood Pond. When the main street is crowded, a quieter side street makes an easier meeting spot.
  • Markham Village: The heritage stretch of Main Street Markham near the Markham GO station. If you live above a shop or in a converted house, say which door you will use.
  • Cornell: East Markham around Markham Stouffville Hospital. Many homes back onto rear lanes, so note whether to meet out front or on the lane.
  • Thornhill, east of Yonge: The Markham half of Thornhill. The Vaughan half west of Yonge Street pays the same outer zone price, and the Thornhill page covers the whole community.
  • Milliken Mills: Southwest Markham near Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue, close to Pacific Mall. Double-check the postal code here, since the Toronto side of Steeles is another zone.
  • Markham Centre: Condo towers near the Civic Centre and the Flato Markham Theatre, around Highway 7 and Warden Avenue. Choose an entrance and write it in the notes.
  • Cathedraltown: Around Woodbine Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive. In one of the townhouse blocks, the unit number matters more than the street name.
  • Angus Glen: Larger detached homes near Kennedy Road and Major Mackenzie Drive. Tell us if you will walk down to the curb or wait in the driveway.
  • Box Grove: Southeast Markham near 14th Avenue and Ninth Line, beside the Rouge parklands. Newer streets may be missing from older maps, so a cross street helps.

Cash, e-Transfer and tips

Two payment methods work for same-day orders: cash handed over at the car, or Interac e-Transfer. That is the whole list, so decide before checkout.

Cash should be exact. A driver may have little or no change on hand, and a handoff spent hunting for coins holds up the next Markham stop too. Note the total when you place the order and count it out before you head outside.

An e-Transfer adds $5. The transfer details reach you by text or email, and the payment must clear before your order is dispatched, so send it the moment the details arrive.

There is an optional driver tip at checkout. Nobody expects it.

The 19+ rule and your first Markham order

Ontario's cannabis age is 19 across the board. Buying, having, using and growing all wait for that birthday, the same line the province draws for alcohol and tobacco. Every customer confirms it at checkout.

New clients also get an ID check before their first order is processed. That one-time step is why a first Markham delivery can take a little longer than later ones. Use valid government photo ID that carries the same name as the order.

The age rule covers use as well as purchase. With teenagers in the house, store edibles and vapes where they cannot get at them, as you would with alcohol.

Ontario cannabis rules, applied in Markham

Provincial and federal law set these rules for Markham. Each card points to the official page behind it.

Age

Buying, carrying, using or growing recreational cannabis is limited to adults 19 and older, the same as alcohol and tobacco in Ontario.[1]

Public possession

On the street, an adult can hold 30 grams of dried cannabis, close to an ounce, or an amount of another form that converts to the same.[4]

Conversions

Ontario counts 1 gram of dried flower as matching 5 grams fresh, 15 grams of edibles, 70 grams of a liquid product, a quarter gram of concentrate or a single seed.[1]

Home plants

Each home is capped at 4 plants no matter how many adults share it, for personal use only, grown from seeds or seedlings purchased from an authorized source.[1]

Buffers

Cannabis smoke and vapour must stay 9 metres from hospital entrances and 20 metres from school grounds and playgrounds, and bus shelters are off limits.[1]

Vehicles

No form of cannabis, smoked, vaped or eaten, may be consumed in a car or boat that someone is driving or will drive later.[1]

Driving with THC

From 2 to just under 5 nanograms of THC per millilitre of blood can draw a fine as high as $1,000, and at 5 or more the offence is hybrid, with a possible prison term of up to 10 years.[3]

Edible timing

Health Canada puts the onset of eaten or drunk cannabis at 30 minutes to 2 hours, with effects that can run for up to 24 hours.[2]

Before you head out to the car

Tick these off while the driver is on the way.

  • The exact cash counted, or the e-Transfer already sent
  • Phone switched on, ringer up, within reach
  • Unit, entrance or rear lane spelled out in the order notes
  • Valid photo ID matching the name on the order
  • Shoes and a jacket by the door for the walk outside
  • A shovelled path to the curb after a snowfall
  • The porch light on if your crescent is dim

Shop by category for Markham delivery

Anything on the menu can reach a Markham address the same day. Stock turns over quickly, so check the product page for what is in.

Edibles: start small and wait

Inhaled cannabis shows up within seconds to minutes. Edibles take the long way, through digestion, which is why Health Canada's window for eaten or drunk cannabis runs from 30 minutes to 2 hours before onset, with effects that can stretch to 24 hours.

That gap is where nights go sideways. The classic error is a second piece because the first seemed to do nothing, and then both arrive together. Take a small portion of one product, give it the full 2 hours, and leave alcohol out of it.

Listings show THC and CBD where available, so go by those figures and not by how big a chocolate looks. Browse edibles with that in mind and keep them in their original packaging, away from kids and pets. To a child, a gummy on the counter looks the same with or without THC.

Getting around Markham without driving high

Impaired driving is a Criminal Code offence, and York Regional Police enforce it on Highway 7 and across the streets of Markham. Between 2 nanograms and just under 5 nanograms of THC per millilitre of blood, a driver faces a summary charge with a fine as high as $1,000. From 5 nanograms up, it becomes a hybrid offence that can lead to as much as 10 years behind bars.

Alcohol makes it worse. Pairing 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood with 2.5 nanograms of THC counts as an offence by itself.

Sort out the ride before anyone lights up. Stouffville line GO trains call at Unionville, Centennial, Markham and Mount Joy stations, Viva buses run along Highway 7, and a taxi fare is small next to the cost of an impaired driving charge.

Edibles can keep building for hours. If they are part of the evening, leave the car keys out of it altogether.

Where you can light up around Markham

Provincially, you can smoke or vape cannabis in a private home and in plenty of outdoor public spots, sidewalks and most parks among them. The City of Markham, landlords and condo boards can tighten that, so read the signs at a park like Toogood Pond before lighting up.

Plenty of familiar Markham places are off limits. Markville Mall, Pacific Mall and the Flato Markham Theatre are enclosed public places. Restaurant and bar patios, Main Street Unionville's included, fall under a rule that also covers the 9 metres around each patio. Markham Stouffville Hospital's entrances get a 9 metre buffer too.

Schools, playgrounds and publicly owned sports fields each carry 20 metres of clearance, as do the grounds of community recreational facilities such as Markham's community centres. The covered Viva stops on Highway 7 count as sheltered outdoor areas under the law, so those are out as well.

Timing, traffic and Markham winters

Treat 1 to 2 hours as the usual range, not a fixed promise. Highway 7 clogs on weekday afternoons, Highway 404 crawls at rush hour, and a snowstorm slows every trip in York Region.

When conditions push the window out, the time in your confirmation text shows it. If timing matters for a dinner or a get-together, order earlier in the day instead of at the last minute.

Winter hands you one small job. Shovel a path to the curb or the end of the driveway, since you will walk out to the car, and keep the house number visible above the snowbank.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get weed delivered in Markham today?

Yes. Every Markham address gets same-day delivery, from the Thornhill side of Yonge Street across to Cornell, Box Grove and Milliken Mills. Most orders arrive 1 to 2 hours after our text confirms your window. Order on the website, with no app or account required, and meet the driver at their car for a short, discreet handoff.

How fast is weed delivery in Markham?

Most Markham orders land 1 to 2 hours after the confirmation text. Traffic on Highway 7 and Highway 404, the weather and the day's volume all shift the window. A first order can run longer, since new clients have their ID checked before the order is processed. Whatever the conditions, the window in your text reflects them.

How big does a Markham order need to be?

At least $60, the outer zone minimum that applies to every Markham address. If the cart falls short, checkout refuses the order and tells you how much to add. South of Steeles Avenue, Toronto addresses fall in the core zone, where the floor is $40.

What does delivery cost to a Markham address?

Delivery is $20 when the cart is under $160, and free once it reaches $160 or more. Checkout shows the delivery line, or the word free, before you confirm anything. Paying by Interac e-Transfer adds $5 for that method, while cash handed over at the car adds nothing.

Is delivery cheaper just across Steeles in Toronto?

The numbers are lower there. Scarborough and North York addresses south of Steeles Avenue sit in the core zone, with a $40 minimum, a $15 fee and free delivery from $80. Pricing follows the delivery address, so sending an order to a friend in Toronto means Toronto rates. A Markham address always gets outer zone pricing.

Is cash accepted for Markham deliveries?

Yes. Any Markham order can be paid in cash, handed to the driver at the car. Bring the exact amount, because a driver may have little or no change to give. The one alternative is Interac e-Transfer, which adds $5 and must clear before the order is dispatched. A tip for the driver is optional and can be added at checkout.

What ID do I need for a first Markham order?

Valid government photo ID showing the same name as the order. Every customer ticks a box at checkout confirming they are 19 or older, and GasDank checks ID for each new client before the first order is processed. That check happens once, so later Markham orders do not wait on it.

How old do you have to be to buy weed in Markham?

You have to be 19. That is Ontario's minimum age for buying, having, using and growing recreational cannabis, and it matches the provincial age for alcohol and tobacco. Markham has no different rule, and GasDank only serves customers who are 19 or older.

Can you deliver to a condo in Markham Centre?

Yes. Condo addresses work the same way as houses, from Markham Centre to the buildings along Highway 7. The handoff takes place at the driver's car, so you walk out to whichever entrance you named in your order notes. Choose the main door or the drop-off loop, and keep your phone close so the driver can tell you they have arrived.

How much weed can I have on me in Markham?

In public, no more than 30 grams of dried cannabis, about an ounce, or the same amount in another form. Ontario converts 1 gram of dried flower to 5 grams fresh, 15 grams of edibles, 70 grams of a liquid product or 0.25 grams of concentrate. That cap applies anywhere in public in Markham, so plan bigger orders around it.

Is smoking weed allowed in Markham parks?

Ontario law lists parks and sidewalks among the outdoor public places where smoking or vaping cannabis is generally allowed, but the City of Markham can add limits by bylaw, so check the posted signs first. Provincial law bans it outright in enclosed public places like Markville Mall, indoor condo common areas, restaurant and bar patios, the 9 metres around hospital entrances, the 20 metres around schools and playgrounds, and bus shelters.

Can I grow my own plants in Markham?

Yes, up to a point. Ontario allows 4 plants per home, however many adults live there, grown by someone 19 or older for personal use. Starting material has to be bought from an authorized source. Tenants and condo owners in Markham should read their lease or condo rules first, since either one can forbid growing outright.

How long until an edible kicks in?

Health Canada's range for eaten or drunk cannabis is 30 minutes to 2 hours before effects begin, and those effects can last as long as 24 hours. Smoking and vaping act within seconds to minutes. Begin with a small amount of one edible, wait the full 2 hours before taking more, skip the alcohol, and do not plan to drive.

Is weed delivery in Markham discreet?

Yes. The handoff happens at the driver's car and is kept short and discreet, so nobody comes to your door or into your lobby. The driver may call or text when close. For addresses outside the delivery zones, mail orders go out in discreet packaging and the tracking number arrives by email.

Does same-day delivery reach Stouffville?

No. Whitchurch-Stouffville, the town on Markham's northern edge, is served by mail order, which goes out by express courier and usually arrives 24 to 72 hours after it ships. Mail order takes Interac e-Transfer only and has no minimum. To get it the same day, send the order to a Markham address where you can meet the driver.

How do I reach GasDank about a Markham order?

Call or text 647-660-7351. The customer service line is staffed 8 AM to 2 AM Eastern (until 3 AM Thursday to Saturday), and texting works well for address details because the thread stays on your phone. Put entrance and lane information in the order notes, and reply to the confirmation text if your plans change after ordering.
