Mailing addresses don't always match how neighbours describe the area. Vellore Village and Sonoma Heights, both west of Highway 400, usually carry Woodbridge mailing addresses, and some Maple residents simply write Vaughan. None of it changes the price. Edibles in Maple: give them time
Edibles are easy to misjudge because nothing happens at first. Health Canada says that when cannabis is eaten or swallowed in a drink, effects can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours to appear and can linger for up to 24 hours.
The usual mistake is a second gummy taken because the first one seems to be doing nothing. Give that first dose a full 2 hours. If edibles are new to you, start with the smallest serving the package allows.

Age, ID and your first Maple order

In a suburb built around the car, it's easy to forget how strict the impaired driving rules are. Under the Criminal Code, 2 to under 5 nanograms of THC per millilitre of blood is an offence punishable by fines reaching $1,000, and 5 nanograms or more can bring a prison term of up to 10 years.
Alcohol makes it worse. Combining 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood with 2.5 nanograms of THC is an offence on its own.
You also can't consume cannabis in any form inside a vehicle that's being driven or will be. For a night out, the Barrie line stops at Maple GO and Rutherford GO, York Region Transit serves the main roads, and a taxi or rideshare costs far less than a criminal charge.

Ontario lets each residence grow up to 4 cannabis plants for personal use. The limit is per home, so two adults in one house still share 4 plants between them. A lease or condo declaration can ban growing outright.
For storage, think about who else lives with you. Edibles stay in their original packaging, flower goes in an airtight jar, and everything sits up high or in a locked box. Gummies look like regular candy, which is the whole problem.

Weights are listed in grams and ounces, and an ounce is about 28 grams. That sits just under Ontario's 30 gram public limit, so a full ounce is fine to carry home, while bulk orders are better left at home once they arrive.
