Imperial Brands puts Honey Berry, alongside Sweet Aromatic, in the group of Backwoods variants it calls “iconic”. Imperial’s timeline gives the 1980s as the decade of the ‘Wild ‘n Mild’ slogan, which it says Backwoods packs still show; ITG Brands spells it ‘WILD & MILD’. In US trademark records as Justia displays them, the BACKWOODS cigar mark dates from a May 17, 1979 filing and is now owned by ITG Cigars Inc.
