3Saints, a producer that grows in Bécancour, Quebec, sells Kush Cookies as an indica bred from GMO Cookies x OZ Kush. It lists total terpenes of 2 to 5%, led by myrcene, limonene and linalool, and says it has produced 80 tons of it since 2021.

The name is often mixed up with Cookies Kush, a different plant. Leafly lists Cookies Kush, also called Cookie Kush or GSC Kush, as an indica from Barney's Coffeeshop that combines GSC with the Rolex phenotype of OG Kush, and says it took first place for Best Coffeeshop Strain at High Times' 2014 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup. Weedmaps credits the cross to Barney's Farm, and AllBud calls it 70% indica. Reviewers on both the Leafly and AllBud Cookies Kush pages describe products sold as Kush Cookies, so check the lineage on the label.

3Saints describes dense, light green buds caked in trichomes and a room-filling aroma of roasted herbs, cracked pepper, a twist of citrus and Kush dankness; it sums up the flavour as herbs, spicy earth and citrus. Cookies Kush reads differently. Leafly reviewers' top flavours are sweet, earthy and nutty, AllBud describes sweet lime with a sour green apple aftertaste, and Weedmaps quotes Barney's Farm on a fruity, earthy aroma and a chocolate mint taste.

3Saints calls Kush Cookies a full-body, hardworking indica. For Cookies Kush, Leafly reviewers most often report feeling sleepy, relaxed and tingly, and Leafly rates the effects as mostly calming. AllBud describes a heavy, red-eyed onset paired with mellow waves of mental energy, which can leave you at ease but still able to function. The negatives Leafly users mention most are dizziness, dry eyes and dry mouth.
