AllBud describes it differently, as an original Hindu Kush strain crossed with a pure skunk strain, and notes that the exact genetics are unclear.

Wikipedia lists Master Kush among the pure indica Kush strains and traces Kush cannabis to heirloom plants from the Hindu Kush, Pamir and Tian Shan mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India and Tajikistan. On awards, SeedFinder records a third place for White Label's Master Kush at the 2004 Highlife Cup, while AllBud mentions 2 Cannabis Cup wins without giving years.
