Trainwreck, Trinity and Jack the Ripper

Our guide describes the cross as a plant of Trainwreck and Trinity parentage, crossed with Jack the Ripper. AllBud describes it as Trainwreck crossed with Trinity and then pollinated with Jack the Ripper, and classes the result as a sativa dominant hybrid at about 80% sativa and 20% indica. Leafly files Chernobyl as a hybrid and names Sweet Berry and Nuclear Cookies as its offspring.

Lime sherbet, citrus and a garlicky undertone

Leafly compares the smell to lime sherbet and tags the flavour citrus, lemon and lime. AllBud calls the aroma potent, funky but pleasing, with lime and citrus undertones, and says the flavour follows the smell: citrus on the inhale, a dank note on the exhale. The feelings Leafly reviewers name most often are energetic, focused and uplifted, and Leafly describes the effects as dreamy and long-lasting. AllBud says they can run for more than three hours, calls them euphoric and very energetic, and suggests the strain for daytime.

THC by source, and a careful start

Leafly lists THC near 19% for the strain, with CBG near 1%, and AllBud’s range is 16% to 22%. The strain rates 4.3 from 819 ratings on Leafly and 4.5 from 39 votes on AllBud. For a first smoke, one or two puffs of something no stronger than 10% THC is Health Canada’s lower-risk suggestion, and it warns that the effect may need half an hour to fully show.
