Jungle Cake is a hybrid made from White Fire #43 and Wedding Cake, and Leafly names Seed Junky Genetics as its breeder. AllBud gives the same two parents and calls the balance even, 50% sativa and 50% indica.

Sugary and nutty, with diesel underneath

Leafly describes a sweet and spicy flavour carrying a diesel and nutty undertone, and its flavour tags are nutty, vanilla and pepper. On AllBud the taste is sweet, sugary and fruity with berry, hints of marshmallow and a nutty edge, while the aroma is very earthy and nutty over a sweet, fruity top note that is both sugary and spicy. AllBud’s aroma tags are diesel, earthy, fruity, pine and sweet.

Steven De Guzman suggests in our Jungle Cake guide that the flower deserves two sniffs. A reviewer quoted there found whole buds sweet, sour and berry-like, then got sour tropical fruit, dough and earth once the same flower was broken apart. His pairing idea is roasted almonds, to echo the nutty, vanilla and pepper flavours.

Grape-shaped buds in forest green

AllBud describes rounded, tight, grape-shaped buds in forest green, with thin reddish-orange hairs and a coat of thick, frosty white trichomes.

Caryophyllene leads the lab data

The terpene order in Leafly’s lab data is caryophyllene first, then linalool and limonene. For THC, Leafly gives 21% alongside 1% CBG, a level its own gauge ranks above average, while AllBud’s text puts the average at 30% to 33%. Our guide adds that readings for the strain stretch from 21% on Leafly to 28% to 34% for one Canadian producer’s version, so batches can differ widely in strength.

A giggly high that builds slowly

Leafly calls it potent and balanced and aims it at experienced consumers, and its reviewers most often tag talkative, happy and giggly. AllBud’s users describe a slow-building high that lifts the mood to euphoria, with giggles, an unfocused head and a relaxed body, then hunger. The effect tags there are creative, euphoria, giggly, happy, hungry and relaxing.

Driving has its own guidance. The lower-risk use guidelines that Health Canada publishes advise against driving until 6 hours or longer have passed since using cannabis.
