Townhouse complexes in Willoughby
Willoughby has grown fast, and much of it is townhouse complexes with internal lanes, look-alike units and a single street address for dozens of homes. A courier arriving at the entrance needs the unit number and, ideally, a hint about which lane to take.
Write the unit number on its own line with the complex name beside it. If your unit faces an internal lane and not the street, say so.

Fort Langley is the village where the colony of British Columbia was proclaimed in 1858, and the national historic site still draws visitors to Glover Road. It is also full of parks, trails and riverfront, which matters for where you can smoke.
Smoking or vaping cannabis is not allowed in provincial, regional or municipal parks, apart from some designated areas and campsites. That takes in Derby Reach Regional Park along the Fraser and the parks around the village.

Strata, rentals and growing at home
4 plants, if your home allows it
Inside a privately owned home, B.C. sets no restrictions on adult use. Landlords and strata corporations can restrict or ban smoking and growing, and a strata needs a three quarter vote of owners to pass that bylaw.
Adults can grow up to 4 plants at home. On an acreage there may be room to spare, but a rental agreement can still rule it out.
Each household can keep up to 1,000 grams of dried cannabis or the equivalent at home, which leaves plenty of room for a stocked cupboard.
Cannabis in the car on Highway 1 and Fraser Highway
Langley runs on cars, so the vehicle rules matter here more than most places. Up to 30 grams can travel in its original unopened packaging. If it is opened or loose, keep it to 30 grams and stow it where the driver cannot reach it, such as the trunk.
Nobody may consume cannabis in a vehicle or boat, as operator or passenger, whether it is moving or not, and you cannot operate one knowing someone aboard is consuming. The exception is a motor home, camper or trailer used as a residence and parked where camping is allowed.
Federal limits apply on every road from 200 Street to 264 Street. From 2 ng to under 5 ng of THC per ml of blood is a summary offence with a fine of up to $1,000, and 5 ng or more is a hybrid offence carrying up to 10 years in prison. Mixing 50 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood with 2.5 ng of THC is also an offence.
