What is Jungle Cake?
Jungle Cake is a hybrid with two well-known parents. Leafly and Weedmaps both describe it as a White Fire #43 and Wedding Cake cross from Seed Junky Genetics. According to StratCann, Seed Junky was started in California in the early 2000s by breeder JBeezy, who also helped create Wedding Cake. Leafly lists Jungle and GMO Jungle Cake as other names.
Leafly describes White Fire 43 as a select phenotype of White Fire OG, chosen from a lot of more than 500 seeds, and Wedding Cake as a Triangle Kush and Animal Mints cross that is known in Canada as Pink Cookies.

Look, smell and taste
MTL Cannabis describes lime-green buds with thin, deep orange hairs under a frosty coat of trichomes, a sweet flavour with notes of fresh-baked pastry, creamy marshmallow and cashew, and an earthy, nutty aroma with a sweet, fruity edge. AllBud uses almost the same aroma description and adds sugary berry and marshmallow flavours. Leafly's reviewers most often pick nutty, vanilla and pepper, while Weedmaps users most often report earthy and diesel.
Terpene results vary. Leafly's lab data lists caryophyllene first, then linalool and limonene, while MTL names myrcene as dominant, with limonene, farnesene, caryophyllene and linalool behind it. The cannabis terpenes guide explains what these compounds are.
Effects people report
Leafly's summary calls Jungle Cake potent and balanced with a smooth, relaxing high, and its reviewers most often report feeling talkative, happy and giggly. AllBud describes a slow build into euphoria, a relaxed body without much couch-lock, and hunger afterwards, and Weedmaps users report feeling relaxed and euphoric. Not every account is glowing: a reviewer at Canadian site Puff The Magic found an MTL batch euphoric but disorienting, and the negatives Leafly users mention most are dry mouth, headache and feeling anxious.
Reports like these are crowd-sourced. Health Canada points out that everyone's response to cannabis is different, and that higher amounts of THC can cause greater impairment and raise the risk of serious adverse effects. For medical questions, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
How strong is Jungle Cake?
Listings are high but inconsistent. Leafly shows 21% THC, AllBud 30 to 33% and Weedmaps an average of 30%, while MTL Cannabis gives 28 to 34% THC and under 1% CBD for its version; the MTL batch Puff The Magic reviewed was labelled 32.6% THC. Check the label on the product you buy. Health Canada suggests starting with 1 or 2 puffs of a product with 10% THC or less and allowing up to 30 minutes for the full effect, and Canada's Lower-Risk Cannabis Use Guidelines advise against driving for at least 6 hours after using cannabis.
