White Fire OG (WiFi OG) Strain: Effects, Taste and Lineage

White Fire OG is a hybrid that Leafly lists as a cross of Fire OG and The White, also sold as WiFi OG, WiFi, White Fire or WiFi Kush. Leafly lists the breeder as unknown, but Cannigma reports that Weedmaps, Hytiva and other sources credit OG Raskal Seeds in Southern California, and quotes the breeder describing a Fire OG Kush clone pollinated by a reversed, clone-only White male.

Westword's cannabis column dates WiFi OG to the early 2000s and says it keeps The White's heavy resin production and Fire OG's tart, earthy flavours. On type, AllBud calls it 60% indica and Cannigma calls it indica-dominant, while Leafly rates its effects as mostly energizing. Cannigma also warns against confusing it with White Fire Alien OG, a separate OG Raskal cross of The White and Fire Alien Kush.

Leafly describes a sour, earthy aroma with a touch of citrus and diesel, and its reviewers most often pick earthy, pungent and woody. AllBud calls the smell sour and diesel-like with a sweet, earthy taste, while Westword picks out soil, cedar and citrus on the nose and pine, lemon and skunk on the palate. Leafly's lab data lists myrcene first, then limonene and caryophyllene.

Across more than 1,000 Leafly ratings, the most reported feelings are focused, uplifted and happy, and Leafly describes the effects as uplifting and cerebral. Cannigma's summary of user reports adds euphoric and relaxed, and Westword's columnist found it more stimulating than sedating, with drowsiness only after smoking too much.

The negatives Leafly users report most are feeling anxious, dry mouth and dry eyes. Leafly calls it a high-potency strain suited to experienced consumers, so start small, and do not drive afterwards: Health Canada's lower-risk guidelines advise waiting at least 6 hours.

Published figures range widely. Cannigma's average of lab results is about 19% THC, Leafly lists 22%, Westword mentions the low 20s, and AllBud gives 22 to 28%. Batches vary, so check the label on the product you buy.
