AllBud agrees on the parents and weighs Jungle Mints at 50% indica to 50% sativa, a balance it calls even; Leafly simply files it as a hybrid. Leafly lists Jungle Fire as an offspring.

Fat, spade-shaped and tinged purple

AllBud describes fat, spade-shaped buds of dark olive green tinged deep purple, threaded with fine orange hairs and thickly frosted with purple-tinted trichomes. Leafly reviewers mention tight, sticky buds in June 2022 and stinky, sticky ones in October 2023.

Menthol over sour orange and diesel

Leafly sums up the aroma and flavour as earthy, skunky and menthol, and its reviewers rank menthol, earthy and pepper as the top flavours. AllBud’s flavour note is sour, citrusy orange with skunky, spicy menthol on the exhale, and its aroma note is earthy and skunky with gassy diesel and sour orange. In January 2026, one Leafly reviewer tasted earth first, then spicy pepper, with a spicy tingle in the nose. An AllBud reviewer in April 2025 found it more citrusy than other Cake or Mints strains, with orange and grapefruit on the exhale, and another in March 2025 noted a skunky diesel smell from the jar.

It says the effects creep up a few minutes after the final toke, starting as a tingly, stimulating euphoria and later turning heavy and heady. On Leafly, one reviewer found it heady and euphoric before it turned relaxing, another described a mellow, heady feel that suited chatting with friends, and the most common reports are hungry and relaxed.

Leafly lists the strain at roughly 22% THC and 0% CBD; it rates that potency above average and suggests Jungle Mints for experienced consumers. AllBud’s average runs from 22% to 29% THC. Ratings come to 4.5 from 23 on Leafly and 4.4 from 17 votes on AllBud.

Start low, says Health Canada: 1 or 2 puffs, from cannabis holding 10% THC or less, then patience, because a smoked peak may not land for up to 30 minutes. A separate rule for drivers comes from its lower-risk guidelines, which put a gap of 6 hours or more between cannabis and the road.
