The family tree is not fully settled. AllBud says some sources give the parents as F1 Durb, an indica-dominant descendant of Durban Poison, and Florida OG, while others say Blueberry and Girl Scout Cookies. Leafly adds that a select Girl Scout Cookies phenotype without Blueberry genetics is also sold as Blue Cookies, so two different plants can carry the name. AllBud estimates the plant at 70 to 90% indica and says it won the Cannabis Cup in a medical hybrid category, without giving a year or location.

Weedmaps describes green buds with blue-purple patches, orange pistils and a thick coat of trichomes, and Leafly mentions frosty resin over twisting shades of green and purple.
