What Blue OG is
Leafly lists Blue OG, also known as Blue OG Kush, as a hybrid from G13 Labs, bred from Blueberry F3, Blue Moonshine and OG Kush. AllBud gives the same lineage but calls it an indica-dominant hybrid, about 60% indica and 40% sativa, and SeedFinder files the G13 Labs version as mostly indica, sold as feminized seeds. SeedFinder's family tree draws Blue OG as Blue Moonshine x OG Kush and traces Blue Moonshine back to DJ Short's Blueberry. G13 Labs' own description, quoted there, calls the plant compact and very resinous, and SeedFinder's grow reviews record both a tall, stretchy sativa-leaning phenotype and a short indica-leaning one.

Leafly and AllBud both describe dark, cone-shaped buds, which Leafly calls typical of OG genetics. Leafly's reviewers pick berry, blueberry and earthy as the top flavours, and its description adds a citrus note. AllBud lists berry, blueberry, citrus, pine and sweet flavours over an earthy, sweet smell with pine and woody notes, while G13 Labs compares the aroma to forest fruits with hints of lime.

Leafly's reviewers most often report feeling relaxed, happy and focused, and Leafly rates Blue OG's effects as mostly calming. AllBud describes the high as euphoric and focused, with a good mood and a relaxed feeling. Several Leafly reviewers call it a creeper that builds slowly, so the full effect can take a while to arrive.
The negatives Leafly users mention most are dry mouth, dry eyes and dizziness; AllBud adds red eyes and says paranoia and headaches are possible. Health Canada suggests starting with 1 or 2 puffs of a product with 10% THC or less and waiting up to 30 minutes for the full effect, and its lower-risk guidelines say not to drive for at least 6 hours after using cannabis.
