Eight flavour options on Boost’s page

Boost Edibles’ product page offers the 300 mg tin in blue raspberry, strawberry, sour green apple, cherry, sour watermelon and cola, along with a sugar-free raspberry and a variety pack.

Pectin, gelatine and hybrid distillate

The base ingredients Boost Edibles names are sugar, glucose syrup, water, pectin, gelatine and citric acid, with colour, natural flavours, MCT oil and sunflower lecithin added. For the THC, Boost Edibles uses hybrid THC distillate, the same kind of refined cannabis oil found in many vape carts.

Stronger than the 150 mg pack, far from the high-dose one

Among the THC gummies in Boost’s shop, this 300 mg tin is stronger than the 150 mg pack and far below the high-dose pack, which holds two pieces at 500 mg each. Boost also makes 1 to 1 gummies, CBD gummies and a CBD variety pack.

Boost’s 45 to 90 minute wait

Boost’s page suggests starting with one gummy and waiting 45 to 90 minutes before deciding on more. A single gummy holds eight times Health Canada‘s lower-risk edible amount, which is 2.5 mg of THC or less. Eaten THC has to pass through the liver, so gummies start more slowly than smoking and last longer. On Health Canada’s timeline, an edible can go unnoticed for half an hour or as long as 2 hours, and it may need up to 4 hours to peak.
