Dab Habit’s Animal Crackers comes as shatter: a translucent, glass-like extract that snaps once it is cold, most often dabbed and sometimes crumbled over flower.

On Leafly, Animal Crackers is an alternative name for Animal Cookies, a hybrid of GSC and Fire OG, two strains Leafly calls legendary. Leafly lists Apple Fritter and Animal Mints as its children and names Mendo Breath, Sherbert and Creme Brulee as similar strains. AllBud gives Animal Crackers its own lineage, Animal Cookies crossed with The White, and sees it as an indica-dominant hybrid, splitting it 80% indica to 20% sativa.

Nutty, earthy, sweet and pungent

Leafly’s top flavours for the strain are nutty, earthy and sweet, its FAQ calls the taste earthy, sweet and pungent, and it describes a sweet, sour aroma. One Leafly reviewer in January 2026 smelled sharp pepper and ginger first, then graham, cinnamon and cream, lightly sweet. Another, in February 2026, noted a nutty taste with a coffee-like aftertaste.

Leafly’s effect notes and two THC readings

Leafly says the strain’s heavy full-body effects will appeal to experienced consumers, and its FAQ reports people feeling relaxed, happy and euphoric. Its calming-to-energizing gauge reads mostly calming, and its potency gauge puts it above average for THC, at about 19% THC with CBG near 1%. AllBud lists THC at 25%. Leafly’s 1,134 ratings average 4.5, and AllBud’s 59 votes average 4.8.
