Grandiflora Genetics, a brand focused on exotic and rare genetics, is the breeder Leafly gives for E85, which it calls a rare, exotic limited-edition offering. The flower here is named for that strain. Leafly lists it as a hybrid from Wedding Cake and Project 4516. AllBud names Super Lemon Cherry Gelato and Runtz as the parents of a hybrid it describes as evenly balanced, 50% sativa and 50% indica.

Apricot, honey and vanilla cream

Leafly describes the aroma and taste as fruity and dessert-like, and its flavour chips read apricot, honey and citrus. One Leafly reviewer describes sweet, floral, banana-like smells with a strong gas nose, and another sweet cream-coffee and berry flavours with gassy undertones.

AllBud describes a taste of sweet fruity apricot, creamy vanilla and sugary citrus candy, and an aroma that mixes apricot, lemon and creamy vanilla cookie. Its flavour tags are citrus, creamy, fruity, nutty, sour, sweet and vanilla; the aroma tags are apricot, citrus, creamy, earthy, lemon, sour and vanilla.

Dense, olive-green nuggets

Leafly’s strain page gives THC as 30%, says it suits experienced consumers and puts its potency meter above average. AllBud gives 28% to 29%. Either way the figure is close to three times the 10% THC ceiling that Health Canada gives for a first puff or two when smoking or vaping.
