Lemon Thai

Terpinolene leads Leafly‘s terpene data for Lemon Thai, the strain this flower takes its name from, which Leafly says Dutch Flowers originally produced by crossing a Thai sativa with a Hawaiian strain. AllBud describes the same cross, produced using Dutch Flowers, and its description calls the strain sativa dominant.

A Thai parent behind the cerebral reputation

Leafly pitches it as a little extra creative spark and says that, taking after its Thai parent, the effects are very cerebral, leaving people introspective, focused and thoughtful. AllBud describes invigorating, uplifting effects with a happy, euphoric mood and strong cerebral effects. On Leafly the feelings reviewers tag most are energetic, focused and talkative, while AllBud’s users pick creative, euphoria, focus, happy and sociable.

Lemon, mint and lime

Leafly describes a pleasant lemony-mint taste, and its flavour tags are lemon, citrus and lime. AllBud says the aroma and flavour are alike: citrus and lemon with minty lime and a bitter-lemon edge, a hint of melon and a traditional spicy Thai note. Its tags are citrus, lemon, mint, sweet and tea.

After terpinolene in Leafly’s ranking come myrcene and pinene. The piney, floral terpene that tops the list is covered in our terpinolene guide.

22% THC on both sources

Leafly shows THC at 22% with 1% CBG, and AllBud shows 22% as well. Inhaled cannabis, Health Canada notes, may need up to half an hour to reach its peak. The strain holds 4.1 from 153 ratings on Leafly and 4.7 from 8 votes on AllBud.

Descendants, and a plant that wants room

Leafly’s genetics section lists Lemonberry and Florida OG as child strains. It says the strain typically flowers in 10 weeks, gives high yields both indoors and outdoors, and appreciates a lot of space. AllBud describes a green, leafy plant with a very high yield, grown indoors or outdoors, that also needs a lot of space.
