What is on the box?
The package reads LONDON DONOVAN and DISPOSABLE VAPORIZER 0.3ML, with the strain on the front (our menu photos show Girl Scout Cookie and Sour Tangie). Health Canada's label guide lists vape liquids among cannabis extracts; check the package for the THC content before the first puff.
Which strains does London Donovan come in?
The menu lists 10: Cherry Pie, Girl Scout Cookies, Grand Daddy Purple, Jack Herer, Northern Lights, Pink Kush, Sour Tangie, Sunset Sherb, White Widow and Zkittlez. Our guides cover the strains behind those names.
A strain name says which strain the oil is meant to match, not how strong a pen is.
How do you use a disposable vape?
Nothing to fill or set up: battery, heating element and oil come as one unit, replaced rather than refilled once empty. Health Canada's lower-your-risks guide sets the cautious start at 1 or 2 puffs of a product with 10% THC or less, with effects showing within seconds to minutes.
Keep draws short and shallow (its lower-risk guidelines advise against deep inhalation and breath-holding), keep the mouthpiece to yourself, and leave 6 hours or more before you drive.
What do you do with a used pen?
Keep it out of the bins. The City of Toronto lists e-cigarettes among devices with lithium-ion batteries and classes those batteries as household hazardous waste that never goes in the garbage, recycling or Green Bin. Check the City's Waste Wizard for current instructions, and avoid crushing or bending the pen.
Elsewhere in Ontario, the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority maps more than 20,000 free public drop-off locations for materials such as batteries and electronics.
