Seedfinder's Compound Genetics entry says Compound and NorCal Genetics, both California breeders, made it in 2022 by crossing a Grape Gas #10 male with an OGKB Blueberry Headband female and selecting a dark purple phenotype. It is also known as El Chivo #5. Leafly describes the same cross and files it as a hybrid with indica-leaning effects.
Both parents are modern crosses. Seedfinder says Grape Gas, also called Grape Gasoline, is a Compound strain from Grape Pie and Jet Fuel Gelato, and OGKB Blueberry Headband is a NorCal Genetics cross of OG Kush Breath and Blueberry Headband.
Be aware that seed company Blim Burn Seeds sells a different Glitter Bomb that it describes as MAC crossed with Grape Gasoline, rated 70% indica, so the name alone does not tell you which genetics you are getting.
