Jet Fuel Strain (G6): Effects, Flavour and Lineage

Leafly lists Jet Fuel as a hybrid from 303 Seeds, made by combining Aspen OG with High Country Diesel, and gives several other names for it: G6, Jet Fuel OG, Jet Fuel G6, Jet Fuel Kush and G6 Kush. Weedmaps, which files it under G6, calls it a sativa-dominant hybrid from the Colorado breeder 303 Seeds, and AllBud puts it at about 70% sativa and 30% indica. AllBud describes lumpy, flat, olive green buds with furry amber hairs and glittering trichomes, and Weedmaps describes dense olive green flower with amber to orange pistils under a thick trichome coat. Leafly's reviewers pick diesel, chemical and pungent as the top flavours, and Leafly ties the name partly to the sweet, pungent smell of diesel fumes. AllBud calls the flavour incredibly pungent, diesel accented by sweet skunk, with an even stronger aroma that adds pine. Weedmaps lists gasoline and chemical funk first, then sweet skunk, pine, lemon peel and earthy diesel.

Leafly's reviewers most often report feeling focused, energetic and uplifted, and Leafly rates Jet Fuel as mostly energizing, describing a high-energy jolt that eventually levels off into a dreamlike relaxation. AllBud says the effect lands fast, in the forehead and behind the eyes, with euphoria, tingly energy and giggles, followed by a body relaxation that leaves people lazy rather than couch-locked. Weedmaps describes a similar arc: a fast, focused, euphoric lift, with relaxation arriving later.

The negatives Leafly users mention most are feeling anxious, dry mouth and dizziness, so a small first dose makes sense with a fast, energetic strain like this. Health Canada suggests starting with 1 or 2 puffs and waiting up to 30 minutes for the full effect, and its lower-risk guidelines say not to drive for at least 6 hours after using cannabis.

Leafly shows 20% THC and 1% CBG and rates Jet Fuel higher in THC than average. AllBud lists 17% to 19% THC with about 1% CBD, and Weedmaps gives a wider range of 18% to 26%. Batches differ, so the label on the product in front of you is the figure that counts.
