Tom's Plushhammer Strain: Lineage, Breeder and Parents

SeedFinder lists Tom's Plushhammer as a mostly indica strain from Dank Breeds, grown indoors with a flowering time of about 60 days and never released as feminized seeds. In its description, Dank Breeds says it picked a Jesus OG-leaning 9 Pound Hammer female from the first release of that strain by Jinxproof and Subcool, a mother it says tests over 23% THC, and crossed her with a Pink Lady Plushberry male that was Black Cherry Soda dominant and showed a lot of magenta and purple.

9 lb Hammer, the mother's line, is a JinxProof Genetics indica from Gooberry, Hells OG and Jack the Ripper that Leafly says won the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup in Seattle, with a pungent, fruity flavour and diesel and lime undertones. Leafly reviewers most often report feeling sleepy, relaxed and tingly.

Plushberry, the father's line, is a TGA Seeds indica from Black Cherry Soda and Space Queen. Leafly credits Black Cherry Soda for its berry scent and Space Queen for heavy resin, notes a phenotype with smaller, pink-tinted plants, and lists berry, violet and flowery flavours; reviewers most often report feeling relaxed, sleepy and tingly.

Dank Breeds describes large, dense colas dripping with resin, with a lot of fruity notes coming through, strong colour potential and little trimming needed. SeedFinder has no aroma or taste reports for the cross yet, and its single grower profile describes rock-hard, very compact dried buds.

No strain database publishes effect reports for Tom's Plushhammer itself. The one grower who filed a SeedFinder profile rated it extremely strong and very long lasting, and Leafly rates both parents as mostly calming; take both as rough guides.

There is no published THC range for the cross either. Dank Breeds says its 9 lb Hammer mother tested over 23% THC, while Leafly lists 9 lb Hammer at 20% and Plushberry at 15%, so check the label on any product. Health Canada suggests starting with 1 or 2 puffs and waiting up to 30 minutes for the full effect, and its lower-risk guidelines say not to drive for at least 6 hours after using cannabis.
