What Is Agent Orange?
Leafly describes Agent Orange, also known as Agent O, as a well-balanced hybrid of Orange Velvet and Jack the Ripper, bred by MzJill Genetics. AllBud traces the family back to Orange Skunk, Jack's Cleaner and Space Queen and calls it sativa dominant, at about 75% sativa, so the sources differ on how far it leans.
Leafly says Orange Velvet, another MzJill Genetics strain, smells and tastes remarkably like an Orange Dreamsicle, while Jack the Ripper is the breeder Subcool's flagship cross of Jack's Cleaner and Space Queen, with a spicy lemon and pine aroma.
According to High Times, MzJill and Subcool built the seed company TGA Genetics together, and when they formally separated in 2019, Subcool gave up his rights to Agent Orange, Orange Velvet and Jillybean, among other strains.
