Leafly lists Lemon Jack as a sativa bred from Jack Herer and Lemon Kush. Weedmaps agrees, adds the other name Lemon Herer, and notes that the original breeder is unconfirmed, although Jungle Boys is associated with a selection from the same pairing. AllBud gives the same parents and calls it a sativa-dominant hybrid, 70% sativa and 30% indica.
There is also a second Lemon Jack. Weedmaps notes that Love Genetics released its own sativa-dominant version from Jack Phoenix and Lemon Skunk, with sweeter fruit and floral notes, so the name on a label does not always mean the same genetics.
Look, smell and taste
Leafly describes a distinct, chemical-like lemon smell, and its reviewers most often pick lemon, chemical and citrus as flavours. Weedmaps adds pine, mint and pepper behind the sharp lemon, rounded off by vanilla sweetness and a cool mint finish. AllBud describes a mint, pepper and chemical scent with hints of vanilla cream, pungent fruit and lemon rind, and says the taste follows the smell without being as spicy.
AllBud and Weedmaps both describe dense, sticky buds with orange and red accents. Leafly's lab-sourced data lists terpinolene as the most abundant terpene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene.

AllBud says the sativa buzz hits first, the Kush genetics add a body feel, and the high builds gradually and can last 2 to 3 hours.
