Plushberry Strain: TGA Lineage, Berry Flavour and Effects

Plushberry comes from TGA Genetics. The breeder's current site, MzJill TGA, lists it as Black Cherry Soda x Space Queen and calls it a TGA Genetics original made with the original parents. Leafly gives the same cross, credits TGA Seeds and also lists the names Plush Berry and Plushberry Kush.

Leafly says the Black Cherry Soda side gives Plushberry its berry scent and the Space Queen side promotes heavy resin production. Leafly's Space Queen page lists that parent as Romulan x Cinderella 99, with an aroma of apples, vanilla and cherries.

Its type depends on the source. Leafly files it as an indica, Strainpedia as an indica-dominant hybrid of about 80% indica, and AllBud as an even 50/50 hybrid. Leafly also describes 2 main phenotypes, one with smaller, pink-tinted plants and one bulkier and more indica-like. TGA describes a medium to tall plant with purple-accented leaves and resinous, pink to purple buds with orange hairs. AllBud describes small, rounded, forest-green buds with dark purple undertones, thick amber hairs and pink-tinted trichomes.

The breeder compares the smell to warm wild berries on a summer day and the flavour to a sweet mix of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries over an earthy base. AllBud adds cherry and a touch of black pepper. Leafly's reviewers most often tag Plushberry relaxed, sleepy and tingly, and Leafly rates its effects as mostly calming; the breeder describes a relaxing high. AllBud disagrees on one point, saying the calm should not leave you couch-locked or sleepy. The negatives Leafly reviewers report most are dry mouth, dry eyes and feeling anxious.
