What is the Blackberry strain?
Leafly lists Blackberry as a hybrid made by crossing Black Domina with Raspberry Cough. That matches the Blackberry from Nirvana Seeds: the breeder's description, quoted on SeedFinder, says the mother, Black Domino, was a clone sent to the Netherlands from the Seattle area, and the father is Nirvana's own Raspberry Cough. AllBud also files it as a hybrid, at 50% indica and 50% sativa.
The name is not unique. Weedmaps notes that Nectar Seeds and Riot Seeds both sell a Blackberry bred from The Black and Afghani, which is mostly indica, and SeedFinder lists around 9 strains called Blackberry. Look, smell and taste
Leafly says growers describe a tight leaf structure with frosty buds, and Nirvana says the plant turns purple when nights are cool (more on what makes weed purple). AllBud describes buds that are less dense than many, with purple hues, white crystals and bright orange hairs.
Leafly describes a pungent aroma of fruit and fuel, and its reviewers' top flavours are berry, sweet and plum. AllBud lists berry, diesel, fruity, hash and sweet flavours, Weedmaps users mostly report berry, then blueberry and cheese, and Nirvana calls the smoke thick and heavy with subtle Asian sativa notes.

Leafly describes the effects as buzzy and relaxing and rates them as mostly calming. Its reviewers most often report feeling sleepy, relaxed and aroused, and the negatives they mention most are dry mouth, dry eyes and dizziness.
Not every source agrees. AllBud pitches Blackberry as a daytime strain that leaves people energetic, talkative and social. Weedmaps says users of the Nirvana version report a euphoric, relaxing high, while it describes the indica-heavy Nectar and Riot versions as much sleepier, so which Blackberry is in the jar may explain part of the split.
Effects vary from person to person. Health Canada advises starting low and going slow, and its lower-risk guidelines say not to drive for at least 6 hours after using cannabis.
How strong is Blackberry?
Leafly lists 17% THC and 0% CBD and rates Blackberry higher in THC than average, while AllBud's page shows 26% in its header and 20% in its description. THC changes from grower to grower and batch to batch, so go by the lab result on the label.
