Alien Breath

Behind Alien Breath, sold here as flower, are two crosses, as Leafly describes it: POGO, made from Purple Alien OG and Goji OG, and Berry Breath, made from Blackberry and Grateful Breath.

POGO meets Berry Breath

AllBud names the same two parents. Leafly says the cross shows strong OG character with tangy, fruity undertones, and calls Alien Breath an esoteric cultivar with a distinctive terpene profile. Both class it as a hybrid, AllBud at an even 50% sativa and 50% indica, and our guide to strain labels covers what those terms mean. For growers, Leafly puts average flowering at 8 to 9 weeks and says the strain does well indoors.

Dense olive buds with purple tints

Per AllBud, the buds are dense and spade-shaped, dark olive green with purple undertones, with thin orange hairs and small, purple-tinted trichomes.

Berries, citrus and a skunky edge

AllBud describes the flavour as sweet berries and tropical citrus with a hint of skunk, and the aroma as much the same with a little earthiness. Leafly’s flavour tags are diesel, lemon and earthy, and Leafly’s terpene data puts limonene first, ahead of caryophyllene and myrcene. One Leafly reviewer describes a skunky citrus smell and compares the strain to Sour Z with an OG kush kick.

Slow waves and a tingle

The most common reports from Leafly reviewers are feeling tingly and relaxed. AllBud describes a high that builds in slow waves, with a subtle tingly feeling and a heavily relaxing, buzzy body state, and calls the effects long-lasting. On Leafly it rates 4.7 from 20 ratings, and AllBud’s average is 4.5 from 23 votes.

THC comes in near 22% on Leafly’s strain page, and AllBud gives 30% to 36%. Health Canada’s smoking advice is pitched at products of 10% THC or less: start at 1 or 2 puffs, since effects that begin within seconds to minutes can keep climbing for as long as 30 minutes.
