Black Domina

Northern Lights, Ortega, Hash Plant and Afghani all went into Black Domina, according to Leafly, and this flower is sold under that strain’s name. Leafly also gives Dom as a short name for it.

A four-way indica pedigree

AllBud describes the same four-way cross, writing the last parent as Afghani SA, and says all four are indicas. Near-black buds under frosty trichomes

Leafly reviewers describe very dark purple, almost black buds, and AllBud describes dark green and purple buds thick with frosty trichomes and sticky resin. One AllBud reviewer found dark green buds that were very hard and sticky, with an earthy, peppery, slightly sweet citrus and nut smell.

Spice, pepper and wood

Leafly describes a spicy, peppery aroma and flavour, with pepper, spicy-herbal and woody as its top flavour tags. AllBud lists citrus, coffee and nuts among the flavour notes and says the smell blends berries, citrus, loam, nuts and spice. Leafly’s terpene breakdown for Black Domina has myrcene on top, with caryophyllene and pinene after it.

Growers quoted by Leafly say Black Domina flowers rapidly, builds buds coated in trichome crystals, suits sea of green setups, yields up to 430 g per square metre and can show many different indica phenotypes. On Leafly, hungry and relaxed lead the reported effects; AllBud’s tags run body high, euphoria, happy and hungry.

THC comes in around 20% on Leafly’s strain page, with CBG near 1% and a potency gauge above average, while AllBud’s range is 18% to 24%, with CBD much lower.
