Gas Mask LSO Smalls

Smaller buds of Gas Mask, grown in living soil, make up these LSO smalls, offered in 14 g or 28 g. Smalls, sometimes called popcorn, are the buds kept apart from a plant’s large top buds. LSO is short for living soil organic, and our guide to living soil organic cannabis explains the method.

Pacific NW Roots, Exotic Genetix and a Cherry Pie backcross

Leafly credits Gas Mask to Pacific NW Roots, working with Exotic Genetix in the Pacific Northwest, and says it was bred by backcrossing a Cherry Pie and Alien Kush F2 hybrid. AllBud gives the parents as Cherry Pie and Fire Alien Kush F2 and calls the result a four-way cross. Leafly lists Molotov Cocktail and Gas Chamber as child strains.

Leafly lists Gas Mask as an indica, while AllBud calls it an indica dominant hybrid at 70% indica and 30% sativa.

Heart-shaped and olive green

AllBud describes weighty, heart-shaped, olive-green nugs with purple undertones, dark amber hairs and dark amber crystals.

Fuel, sour cherry and overripe citrus

Leafly describes a very pungent, fuel-like smell with a faint hint of overripe citrus, and Leafly’s flavour tags are coffee, chemical and diesel. AllBud describes an aroma of fresh cherries mixed with sour, dank skunk, strong enough to fill a room, and a dank, skunky taste with hints of sour cherry on the exhale. One AllBud reviewer sums up the taste as cherry diesel. Limonene tops Leafly’s terpene data for Gas Mask, ahead of linalool and myrcene.

A heavy, long-lasting high in source accounts

Leafly describes a strong, long-lasting high with a heavy cerebral feel that settles into the limbs, and Leafly users, who rate Gas Mask 4.7 from 60 ratings, most often report feeling relaxed and tingly. AllBud describes a lifted, heady start that does not add energy, moving into relaxation with a tingle through the body, and AllBud users rate it 4.8 from 41 votes.

Leafly’s strain page shows THC at 18%, with CBG and THCV at 1% each, and rates the potency as higher THC than average; AllBud gives 20% THC and 1% CBD. Leafly also gives the plant a flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks and a medium yield.
