Health Canada puts kief in the same group as hash, wax and shatter, all of them high in THC, and tells new or occasional users to steer clear. Its lower-risk use guidelines cover driving too: the earliest return to the wheel they name is 6 hours after using cannabis.

The OG Kush strain the name refers to

On Leafly’s genetics tab the parents are Chemdawg and Hindu Kush. AllBud rates the strain a sativa-dominant hybrid, 55% sativa and 45% indica, and says the cross is thought to be that same pair. Leafly also lists Premium OG Kush as another name, and AllBud lists OGK.

Leafly’s aroma notes read fuel, skunk and spice, with woody, pine and earthy flavour tags, and its terpene data runs myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene. AllBud’s aroma notes are spicy and kushy, with sour citrus, woody pine and pungent dank; it pictures large, grape-shaped, forest-green buds with long thin orange pistils and small golden-white trichomes dusted over them.

Leafly reviewers lean towards hungry and relaxed. On AllBud the effect tags are giggly, happy, hungry, relaxing, sociable and uplifting. THC reads about 25% on Leafly, with 0% CBD, and 20% to 26% on AllBud; those are strain-wide figures, not a measurement of this kief.
