Lemon Drop

Lemon, citrus and tea are Leafly‘s flavour tags for Lemon Drop, which Leafly lists as a hybrid and AllBud calls sativa dominant (60% sativa, 40% indica). Lemon Drop flower takes its name from that strain, and its weight picker spans 1 g to 28 g.

Lemon, tea and a little pine

The taste is lemony and clean, Leafly says. One of its reviewers describes a fresh, clean lemon-and-tea smell, and another a zesty lemon flavour with hints of pine and diesel. AllBud describes a fruity, tangy aroma with a matching, notably lemony flavour. Its aroma tags are citrus, dank and earthy, and its flavour tags are citrus, grapefruit, lemon, sweet and tropical.

Mellow, fluffy buds and a giggly high

Mellow and fluffy is how Leafly sums up the bud, with a pleasant giggly feeling and a tendency to feel euphoric and focused. Some phenotypes bring a stronger body feeling, which Leafly calls relaxing without being overpowering. Giggly, focused and happy are the tags its reviewers use most, and its effects gauge leans energizing.

AllBud says the buds are green and quite fluffy, covered in trichomes. Its users tag euphoria, focus, giggly, happy and hungry, and it rates the strain 4.3 from 15 votes and 11 reviews, against Leafly’s 4.1 from 249 users.

Myrcene, then pinene and caryophyllene

Leafly puts myrcene (herbal) in front, with pinene and caryophyllene trailing. THC reads 16% on Leafly with CBD at 0%, a potency ranked above its average. AllBud lists THC at 18%, CBD at 1% and CBN at 1%, and calls the strain quite potent and suited to experienced users and daytime use.

On pacing, Health Canada says inhaled effects start within seconds to minutes yet can keep climbing for half an hour, and its lower-risk page suggests no more than 10% THC for a first try.
