Stellar 2000mg Chocolate Bar

Stellar’s 2,000 mg chocolate bar comes in four flavours: Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Strawberries and Cream. Stellar makes cannabis-infused chocolate bars and gummies and presents the whole range as high-dose.

Ten pieces of 200 mg

Stellar makes its chocolate bars in 500 mg, 1,000 mg and 2,000 mg strengths, with per-piece amounts of 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg to match. At this strength, that works out to ten pieces of 200 mg each. The brand gives the same three strengths for its Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel bars.

Belgian milk, dark cacao or salted caramel

• Milk Chocolate: Stellar’s product page says it is made with Belgian chocolate and THC distillate.
• Dark Chocolate: dark cacao chocolate infused with THC distillate, in Stellar’s description.
• Salted Caramel: Stellar describes a caramel flavour with butter and salt notes.

The distillate behind the THC

Distillate, the base Stellar uses, is a refined cannabis oil that turns up in edibles and vape cartridges alike. Stellar states that the THC distillate in its edibles is more than 90% pure.

Pacing a 200 mg piece

Because the liver handles THC from a chocolate bar, the bar starts later and lasts longer than a joint. A single 200 mg piece is far above Health Canada‘s suggested edible amount of 2.5 mg of THC or less. Health Canada also says edible effects show up anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours in, and reaching full strength can take up to 4 hours.
