Leafly calls Tuna Kush a BC legend that is now turning up in markets across North America, and this is that strain as flower. AllBud also knows it as Tuna OG.

Skunk, fuel and a fishy edge

Leafly calls Tuna Kush very smelly and advises growers to upgrade their carbon filters. It expects pungent skunk and fuel with a delicate sweetness mixed in, and its top flavour tags are skunk, pungent and tar. AllBud compares the very pungent, fishy smell to tuna that has gone off and describes a sour, skunky taste with a kushy, fishy edge; its aroma tags are dank, diesel, earthy, kush and spicy. One Leafly reviewer notes a faint fish-like undertone in the smell.

Small nuggets, heavy resin

Leafly describes small, dense nuggets heavily coated in resin, from plants not known for large yields but rich in potency and flavour. Its reviewers mention bud dense and resinous enough to clog a grinder. AllBud’s picture is of long, pepper-shaped, minty-green buds with slender amber hairs and a fine frosting of small white trichomes.

Myrcene first, THC near 18%
