What is RS-11?
RS-11 is a hybrid from Deo Farms of Oakland, California, the breeder behind Zoap. Leafly says Deo crossed his Pink Guava, an OZ Kush project, with Sunset Sherbert, and that Wizard Trees of Los Angeles selected RS-11 along with RS-54. Leafly's Zoap page fills in the name: RS is short for Rainbow Sherbert, and the 11 marks the phenotype Wizard Trees picked.
Weedmaps tells a slightly different story. It lists Pink Guava and OZK as the parents, dates the release to 2022 by Deep East Oakland (DEO) Farms and Wizard Trees, and says Doja Pak joined the project on the 11th phenotype. Leafly files RS-11 as a hybrid, and Weedmaps calls it an indica-dominant hybrid.
Look, smell and taste
Weedmaps describes dense, fluffy buds with hints of gold and yellow, light orange pistils and white trichomes, and Leafly's grow notes mention lime green and yellow hues.
Leafly describes an extra fruity flavour with hints of sour citrus, a smooth smoke and a lingering sweet and spicy aroma, and its reviewers most often pick apricot, peach and citrus. Weedmaps points to berry, gas, evergreen and citrus, while its users report diesel, woody and berry. In Leafly's lab data the leading terpenes are caryophyllene, limonene and humulene.
Effects people report
Leafly's description says people report feeling calm and sedated but still mentally alert, and its reviewers most often tag RS-11 as focused, giggly and relaxed. Even so, Leafly's effect scale rates it as mostly energizing, which shows how mixed the reports are.
The negatives Leafly users mention most are headache, feeling anxious and dry mouth. Leafly calls RS-11 a potent hybrid, so start with a small amount, and do not drive afterwards: Health Canada's lower-risk guidelines advise waiting at least 6 hours.
How strong is RS-11?
Leafly lists about 24% THC and 1% CBG and rates RS-11 above average for THC. Neither Weedmaps nor the other pages give a strain-level figure, and THC varies by grower and batch, so check the label on the product.
