Imperial Blonde Moroccan Hash

Labelled both blonde and Moroccan, Imperial Blonde Moroccan Hash is offered in weights of 1 g, 3.5 g, 7 g, 14 g and 28 g. Sensi Seeds names Morocco as one of the home regions of dry-sift hash, together with Afghanistan, Lebanon and Pakistan.

Gold, brown or black, brittle or fudgy

Sandy gold, reddish brown and oily black all fall within the colour range Sensi Seeds gives for Moroccan hash, with textures from dry and brittle to soft and fudgy, depending on how it is processed. The powder ends up as balls, sticks or bricks, and some farmers add heat during pressing, Sensi Seeds says, which gets some trichomes to give up their oils so the loose powder sets into a solid, sticky mass.

How Moroccan sift is traditionally made in the Rif

Harvest in the Rif foothills tends to be late, at the end of October or into November, Sensi Seeds says, and the cut plants then spend several weeks drying in the shade. Once they are dry, Sensi Seeds describes the flowers coming off the stems and going onto fine cloth stretched across a bucket or tub, where, under a plastic cover, they are tapped gently with hemp stems until the resin powder sifts down into the container. In the version on Wikipedia’s Cannabis in Morocco page, autumn-cut stalks dry indoors for about a month before being beaten over a taut cloth with a metal basin beneath.
