SFV OG Kush

Leafly calls the strain behind this flower an indica and also writes it as San Fernando Valley Kush. AllBud goes for indica-dominant hybrid instead, at 90% indica and 10% sativa.

The parents Leafly and AllBud name

Leafly’s genetics section lists SFV OG and Afghani as the parents and Tahoe OG and Fire OG as children, while its description text names SFV OG and OG Kush. AllBud also says SFV OG crossed with Afghani, and adds that the strain is easily mistaken for its SFV OG parent because of the near-identical name, though the experience is quite different. It is best known, AllBud says, for a classic aroma and effects that come from the OG Kush family.

Lemon cleaner and pine on the nose

Leafly describes a pungent smell, often likened to lemon cleaning product mixed with pine, and gives flavour tags of lemon, pine and earthy. One reviewer there recalls piney, woody, sweet buds sticky with resin. Leafly’s grow note adds that a longer flowering cycle tends to give more aromatic buds.
