Its Strain of the Year article breaks the parents down further: Double Burger is Donny Burger x GMO, and Han Solo Hash Plant is Han Solo Burger x Black Triangle Kush. That makes GMO a grandparent and, in Leafly's words, makes Hash Burger one of Chemdawg's many children.
Credit is disputed. The strain was bred while the Respects were in a partnership, since ended, with Skunk House Genetics' Skunk Master Flex, and both sides claim to be the main breeder. After reviewing evidence and interviewing sources, Leafly concluded the Respects very likely did most of the breeding; they started popping the seeds in 2019.
