Dab Habit Shatter - Blue Dream

Dab Habit’s Blue Dream shatter takes its name from one of the most-searched strains in Leafly‘s database. As shatter, it is translucent and glassy, and it snaps when cold.

Blueberry, Haze and West Coast fame

Leafly traces Blue Dream to a Blueberry and Haze cross from California and says it reached legendary status on the West Coast. It calls the result a sativa-dominant hybrid that both novice and veteran consumers favour, and AllBud rates the lean at 60% sativa to 40% indica. Sweet berry, vanilla and three terpenes

Sweet berries are what Blue Dream smells and tastes of, per Leafly, whose top flavour tags are berry, blueberry and sweet. AllBud likens the aroma to blueberry pie and says the sugary blueberry flavour stays on the tongue; its flavour list also takes in vanilla, herbal and fruity.

Its effect meter reads mostly energizing, and reviewers there name creative, euphoric and happy most often. AllBud users describe the head high as immediate and uplifting, bringing motivation and focus, with a mellow body high underneath.

On Leafly, the strain shows about 21% THC and 0% CBD, and the write-up notes that THC can top 20% while CBD stays low. AllBud’s averages run 17% to 24% THC, with 2% CBD and 1% CBN. Blue Dream averages 4.3 across 14,936 Leafly reviews and 4.5 from 455 AllBud votes.

Shatter is on Health Canada‘s short list of THC-heavy extracts, next to wax, hash and kief, and the agency’s advice to first-timers and rare users is to leave all four alone. Its lower-risk use guidelines count a dab as cannabis use like any other: no driving for 6 hours or longer afterwards.
