Garlic Breath

AllBud says the strain behind Garlic Breath flower earned its name with a surprisingly garlicky flavour. Both AllBud and Leafly call the strain an indica-dominant hybrid. Leafly adds that ThugPug Genetics originally bred it, and AllBud sets the split at 70% indica to 30% sativa.

Leafly’s description gives the cross as GMO with Mendo Breath. Its genetics chart shows Mendo Breath as the parent and lists Wicked Lime and Stanky Leg as children. AllBud writes the cross as Hogsbreath with Chemdog D BX2.

Garlic, pepper and a little cheese

Leafly likens the flavour to freshly peeled garlic with spicy undertones. It calls the taste pungent and savoury, and its tags are pepper, pungent and blue cheese. Reviewers there add an earthy, garlicky smell and taste, a cheesy, peppery taste, and gassy tones on the inhale with earthy diesel on the exhale.

AllBud describes savoury garlic and herbs that linger after the last toke. Its aroma is sharp, pungent chemicals with a punch of earthy garlic and herbs. The flavour tags are herbal, pine, spicy and woody. One AllBud reader found the garlic taste not overpowering, a little like GMO but weaker, and another compared it to garlic bread.
