Heisenberg THC Diamond Amnesia Haze

Heisenberg’s Amnesia Haze THC Diamond comes as crystals of THCA, a concentrate form. The crystals take shape as an extract separates, a process our THC diamonds explainer walks through, and heat changes their THCA into THC.

Strain THC figures from 19% to 22%

Leafly‘s strain page lists Amnesia Haze at about 19% THC and 1% CBG, the THC figure our Amnesia Haze guide also cites, and Leafly’s potency gauge places the strain above average for THC. AllBud gives a range of 20 to 22% THC, says some tests put it above 22%, and shows CBD slightly under 1%.

Parentage, Cup results and a daytime lean

Leafly files Amnesia Haze with the sativas, lists Haze and Afghani as its parents, and records two first-place Cannabis Cup results, from 2004 and 2012. AllBud’s family tree runs back to Jamaican and Laotian sativas and to Afghan Hawaiian; its estimate is 80% sativa, 20% indica, and it recommends the strain for the daytime. The buzz, in Leafly’s description, is uplifting and energetic, and AllBud users report feeling creative, euphoric, giggly and happy.

Citrus flavours and a myrcene-led profile

Citrus, lemon and lime are the flavours Leafly lists for the strain. Its terpene data from tested products has myrcene at the top, with caryophyllene and limonene behind it. AllBud describes the smell as sweet and earthy with a little spicy pepper, and three Leafly reviewers all pair lemon or citrus with pepper in their notes.

Who Health Canada says should skip extracts

THC diamonds are an extract product, and Health Canada warns that extracts such as kief, hash, shatter and wax carry a lot of THC; its lower-risk page advises people who are new to cannabis, or who use it rarely, to avoid them. Driving after THC diamonds, or any cannabis, is something Health Canada’s lower-risk guidance rules out for 6 hours or longer.
