Jet Fuel flower owes its name, Leafly says, to two things: a sweet, pungent aroma like diesel fumes, and an energetic, upbeat rush that comes first and eases later into a dreamy, relaxed state.

Leafly names 303 Seeds as the breeder, and our Jet Fuel guide adds that the seed company is based in Colorado. Leafly calls the strain the ultimate cross of renowned Diesel strains, pairing Aspen OG and High Country Diesel, and AllBud gives that same pair of parents. Leafly also finds East Coast Sour Diesel and SFV OG Kush in its lineage, and lists Jet Fuel Gelato and Rocket Fuel as children. Leafly’s grow information has the plant finishing in 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, 63 to 72 days.

AllBud describes the aroma as diesel with sweet skunk and pine and says it comes through even more strongly than the flavour, which is very pungent, with a diesel overtone and sweet skunk. Diesel, chemical and pungent are Leafly’s top flavour tags. On Leafly, reviewers keep returning to a very gassy, pungent smell, and one also picked up lemon or lime. Energetic first, relaxed later

Leafly’s effect scale reads mostly energizing, and focused, energetic and uplifted lead the moods its reviewers mention. AllBud says the high arrives straight away, felt behind the eyes and across the forehead as tingly, euphoric head energy that can turn giggly, before the body relaxes without couch-lock.

Leafly’s THC figure for the strain is about 20%, with CBG near 1%, and it rates the potency above average; AllBud’s averages are 17% to 19% THC and 1% CBD. Leafly classes Jet Fuel as a hybrid, our guide calls it sativa-leaning, and AllBud puts it at 70% sativa and 30% indica. Ratings average 4.5 across 816 on Leafly and 4.6 across 128 votes on AllBud.

Against that, Health Canada would have a first-time smoker stop after 1 or 2 puffs, choosing cannabis that tops out at 10% THC. Waiting 6 hours or more before driving is the line drawn in its lower-risk guidelines.
