Wedding Pie

Wedding Pie is flower that takes its name from a Wedding Cake and Grape Pie cross, a parentage given by both Leafly and AllBud. Leafly names Cannarado Genetics as the breeder, and its label for the strain is indica-leaning hybrid; AllBud lists the balance as 60% indica and 40% sativa.

Grape, butter and a doughy sweetness

Leafly tags butter, grape and sweet flavours. It describes a dessert-like fruity aroma with sweet, lemony and gassy notes, and one Leafly reviewer describes a taste of pine, light citrus, sweet grape and butter.

AllBud describes a sweet taste led by grape and berry, with a nutty, doughy note and mild spice, and a pungent, herbal-dank aroma with sour berry and spicy grape notes. Its flavour tags are berry, fruity, grape, sour, spicy and sweet. For aroma it tags dank, earthy, grape, pungent, spicy and sweet.

Olive-green buds with orange hairs

One Leafly reviewer describes large, chunky olive-green buds with caramel-toned hairs. AllBud describes flat, spade-shaped, olive green buds with dark orange hairs, amber undertones and a frosting of amber crystals.

THC readings, caryophyllene and the tingle-first high

Leafly lists THC at about 26% with 1% CBG, while AllBud lists 20% to 22%. Caryophyllene, the peppery terpene, leads Leafly’s panel, with limonene and linalool behind it; our article on limonene covers the citrus one.

Leafly’s reviewer tags lean toward relaxed and giggly. AllBud tags body high, relaxing, tingly and uplifting, and describes a high that starts with a light tingle, then a heavy head buzz, followed by full-body relaxation. Leafly scores it 4.6 from 157 ratings, and AllBud 4.4 from 39 votes and 8 reviews.

Leafly lists Piescream and Jungle Pie among the strains bred from Wedding Pie, and adds that another strain sold under the name may be Wedding Cake x Cherry Pie, as naming conflicts are common in cannabis.
