Willo Infused Preroll Pack

Seven pre-rolls make up each Willo infused pack, either as 3.5 g, meaning seven 0.5 g joints, or as 7 g, meaning seven 1 g joints. According to Willo, every one is made with premium flower grown in BC, infused with the brand’s live resin and packed in a hemp cone dusted with kief.

Live resin inside, kief outside

Live resin is made from plants that are frozen straight after harvest, with no drying or curing step, so the extract retains more of the fresh plant’s terpenes. Kief is the trichome powder that stays loose rather than being pressed into hash; think of the fine dust at the bottom of a grinder. In this pack the first is the infusion and the second is the dusting on the hemp cone.

Day and Night versions

Willo labels one version of the pack Sativa (Day) and another Indica (Night), with the same description and sizes for both. The options here are labelled Black Cherry Soda (sativa) and Grape Ape (indica).

Forty percent, and Health Canada’s pacing for smokers

Willo says every pre-roll in the pack is designed to offer 40% cannabinoids (THC) potency. For smokers, Health Canada‘s lower-your-risks page names 10% THC or under and a first round of just one or two puffs; Willo’s 40% design figure is four times the 10% figure. Effects from smoking begin within seconds or minutes, in that page’s account, and may take up to half an hour to reach their peak. Health Canada’s page groups kief with hash, wax and shatter as high-THC extracts that newer or occasional users are advised to avoid, and kief is what dusts this cone.
