Bruce Banner

The Hulk of Cannabis: Bruce Banner Flower

Bred from OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel genetics, this strain delivers a bold aroma that smacks of diesel fuel, sweet berries, and earthy pine. The moment you open the bag, a sharp, gassy punch fills the air, followed by subtle fruity undertones that linger like the aftershock of a gamma-ray blast.

Effects That Smash Through the Day

Bruce Banner is legendary for its balanced yet potent effects. The flavour on the exhale is pure diesel-berry sweetness with a smooth, earthy finish that keeps you coming back.

Break up the dense, sticky buds by hand or with a grinder and pack into your favourite piece. Many choose to roll it into a classic joint so they can fully appreciate the strain’s complex terpene profile. Must be 19+ and consume responsibly.

Dark Horse Genetics and the Bruce Banner phenotypes

Leafly credits Dark Horse Genetics as the original breeder of Bruce Banner. The strain can show many phenotypes, and Leafly mentions three main ones, among them Bruce Banner #3. Leafly also records the nicknames Banner, OG Banner and Bruce, and lists Strawberry OG and Gamma Candy as offspring.

Sativa-leaning, by Leafly and AllBud alike

Leafly describes a sativa-leaning hybrid, its effect scale reads mostly energizing, and the write-up calls Bruce Banner a daytime strain. AllBud puts it at 60% sativa and 40% indica and also says it suits daytime. Leafly reviewers most often report feeling euphoric, creative and focused.

THC, terpenes and a strawberry pairing

Leafly averages THC at 21% and rates the potency above the average strain, while AllBud gives 24% to 29%, with CBD and CBN at 1% each. Leafly’s Strain Science section lists caryophyllene first, then myrcene and limonene (see our limonene explainer). Leafly’s flavour tags pair diesel with flowery and tea notes, and AllBud mentions citrus over a mainly sweet flavour. In our Bruce Banner guide, Steven De Guzman’s tip is that the nose tracks the Strawberry Diesel parent, fuel first with strawberry sweetness behind, so he suggests setting out fresh strawberries to bring out the fruit.
