Dope Elite 1.1G Cart - Strawberry Lemonade

First place for Best Sativa Concentrate at High Times’ 2015 Denver Cannabis Cup went to Strawberry Lemonade, Leafly says, and Dope Elite puts that strain name on this 1.1 g cart.

Strawberry Cough, Lemon OG and Barney’s Farm

Leafly says Strawberry Lemonade is thought to be a cross of Strawberry Cough and Lemon OG, and it credits Barney’s Farm as the breeder. AllBud gives the same likely pair of parents. On its own seed page, Barney’s Farm describes crossing a highly potent, mostly sativa Strawberry with its own Lemon OG. Barney’s Farm rates the strain 60% sativa and 40% indica, and AllBud’s write-up calls it a sativa-dominant hybrid.

Lemon first, then berry

Leafly describes a sweet, citrusy aroma and a tangy flavour that mixes lemon and berry, with lemon, strawberry and rose as its top flavour tags. AllBud likens the taste to a sweetened glass of strawberry lemonade and the aroma to a sweet lemon bouquet with a fresh, earthy berry hint. Barney’s Farm sums up the profile as sweet strawberry and citrus. Myrcene leads the terpene ranking Leafly builds from Leafly Certified labs, ahead of caryophyllene and pinene.

Daytime energy in three accounts

Leafly reviewers most often report feeling energetic, giggly and uplifted, and Leafly’s gauge for the strain points to mostly energizing. Barney’s Farm describes energizing, uplifting effects with sharper focus and calls the strain hugely popular for daytime activities. AllBud’s account starts slightly energizing and uplifted, with a mild alertness that can turn hazy, and ends in a warm, tingly body buzz that leaves users relaxed but functional.

Strain THC on Leafly, AllBud and Barney’s Farm

Leafly’s figure for the strain is 20% THC with 0% CBD, a level it considers a good fit for experienced consumers. AllBud’s header range is 16% to 22%, and Barney’s Farm puts THC above 26%. A first try from a cart, by Health Canada‘s lower-risk measure, is a puff or two, preferably of a product rated at 10% THC or under. Vapour registers within seconds to minutes, and the agency says the peak can be up to half an hour away. For driving, its lower-risk guidelines set the wait at 6 hours or more.
