Leafly describes Pineapple Sherbet as a slightly sativa-dominant hybrid thought to come from crossing Pineapple Kush with Cherry Pie, and credits DNA Genetics as the original breeder. AllBud describes a sweet, fruity tropical pineapple flavour that ends on a lightly sour, citrusy exhale. Its aroma notes are sweet pineapple with earthy sour citrus and fresh herbs. Leafly also leads with loud pineapple backed by sweet citrus, while the flavours its users pick most often are pineapple, apple and blue cheese.

How the buds can look

Growers quoted by Leafly say the plant flowers into tall, fluffy buds with light and dark green leaves under a dusting of trichomes. AllBud pictures fat, pepper-shaped buds in bright neon green, with thick orange hairs and a coat of tiny golden amber trichomes. One Leafly reviewer in 2024 described a batch with bright pink and dark green buds that looked almost purple.

On potency, Leafly puts the strain at about 16% THC and 1% CBG, while AllBud gives 20% THC, both as figures for the strain as a whole.
