Blue Dream Vape Cartridge (Hooti Extracts)

This Hooti Extracts vape cartridge carries the Blue Dream label, and Hooti sells its cartridge line as a 1 gram THC distillate cartridge. Hooti calls itself Canadian, with its base in British Columbia.

Distillate, with terpenes put back

Refined cannabis oil is what distillate means, and it is common in both vape cartridges and edibles. Hooti’s cartridge page describes its own blend of THC distillate plus strain-specific terpenes that are reintroduced. According to its About page, the company keeps naturally derived terpenes and flavonoids and adds them back to its extracts.

On Hooti’s home page, distillate is one of five product groups, next to shatter, vaporizers, live resin and isolate.

A cautious first session

For a first go at vaping, Health Canada’s lower-your-risks advice is modest: one or two puffs, from a product at ten per cent THC or less. Effects from vaping begin within seconds to minutes; the peak can still be half an hour off. On driving, its lower-risk guidance asks for six hours or longer after cannabis use.
