Funky Monkey

Funky Monkey is listed as hybrid flower, and its five sizes begin at 1 g and top out at 28 g. A euphoric, indica-dominant cross of Grape Ape and Mendo Purps is how Leafly describes the strain.

Grape Ape on one side, Mendo Purps on the other

In Leafly’s genetics box the second parent is written Mendocino Purps. Leafly places the strain under indica, and the product is listed as hybrid; our guide to what the three labels really mean lays out how they are applied.

Berry, grape and cheese

Berry, grape and cheese make up the flavour tags Leafly gives the strain, and one reviewer adds earthy, dank and musky notes.

Limonene first, then terpinolene and pinene

Limonene leads the terpene list on Leafly, with terpinolene and pinene after it. The THC reading there is 18% with 1% CBG, and Leafly’s potency meter marks it above the average.

The talkative, giggly profile Leafly reviewers describe

Leafly’s text calls the strain giggly and talkative and pictures it at social outings or time with friends at home. Its reviewers tag euphoric, giggly and talkative, and its effect gauge reads mostly energizing.

One reviewer describes a gregarious, outgoing, happy high. Another calls it a party strain with plenty of conversation and giggles. A third Leafly reviewer says it is not a typical couch-locking indica but an up-and-moving, fun one. Leafly rates it 4.0 from 40 ratings.
