Wappa is flower of a strain by Paradise Seeds, which the breeder presents as one of its flagship strains and a Paradise Classic. Leafly calls it a 60% indica-dominant hybrid, and AllBud lists 60% indica and 40% sativa.

Bred from the biggest, juiciest plants

Paradise Seeds says it bred Wappa by selecting the biggest, juiciest plants in each generation, and describes it as a multiple award winner. The breeder pictures a stout, sturdy, bushy plant with dense, long, frosty buds and a high calyx-to-leaf ratio, easy to grow and suited to beginners.

Paradise Seeds gives yields of 550 g per square metre indoors and 700 g per plant outdoors, and a grow report on its page harvested in weeks 8 to 9 of flowering.

Tea, strawberry and sweet fruit

Leafly tags tea, tree fruit and sweet flavours. One Leafly reviewer describes a strong matcha tea taste followed by hints of honey and sometimes a touch of mint, another reports a strong green tea aroma, and a third calls the taste peppery.

Paradise Seeds describes a fresh, fruity bouquet of strawberry and cherry and lists fruity and skunky flavours, while its grow report describes a mild, sweet smoke with subtle fruity undertones. AllBud describes a sweet fruit aroma with a hint of diesel and an intensely sweet, fruity taste with a pine and diesel aftertaste on the exhale.

Look and terpenes

AllBud describes airy, bright neon green, Christmas-tree-shaped nugs covered with curly leaves, frosty white trichomes and sticky resin. Leafly’s terpene order is caryophyllene (the peppery one), myrcene and limonene, while Paradise Seeds describes a well-balanced profile led by myrcene, caryophyllene and linalool.

Three THC figures, and the high

Leafly lists THC at about 24% with 1% CBG, and Paradise Seeds also gives 24%. AllBud lists 18% to 19%.

On Leafly, the tags reviewers use are relaxed and giggly. Paradise Seeds describes an intense but not overwhelming effect, with a relaxing body feel and an uplifting sense of purpose, suited to daytime or evening. AllBud tags body high, euphoria, happy, hungry, relaxing and sociable, and its users describe a powerful but pleasant onset with an introspective high and heightened awareness.
