Willo THC Disposable Pen

Of the six flavours offered for this THC disposable pen, Willo labels two sativa, two hybrid and two indica, and all six come in the same all-in-one pen, which the Toronto brand rates at 1,100 mg of THC.

Six flavours, two of each type

Willo sells the pen as one product, sorts its flavours by type and says the pens feature favourite strains:

• Sativa: Jelly Breath and Maui Wowie
• Hybrid: Kush Mintz and Blue Cookies
• Indica: Grape Ape and Sunset Sherbet

The oil can differ in shade from one flavour to the next, which Willo puts down to the strain.

The distillate behind all six

In every flavour the oil is distillate rated by Willo at 98% cannabinoids. The brand also calls it top purity and 100% solvent-free, and says nothing goes in alongside it: no carrier oil, no additives, no thickeners. The line takes its title from the THC content, 1,100 mg per pen, which is 1.1 g.

Built-in battery, mini USB backup

No separate battery is involved: the pen comes filled and ready, and its working life ends when the oil does. Should the charge give out first, Willo says the built-in battery can be recharged through mini USB. Willo puts the pen in slim, discreet packaging.

Willo beyond this pen

Toronto is home to Willo, which states on its home page that its products are sourced locally and both produced and packaged in the city. Its own shop runs from pre-rolls of British Columbia flower in hemp cones to gummies, chocolates, beverages, tinctures and CBD, with concentrates that include shatter, THC crumble, diamonds, live resin and solventless hash rosin.

Two puffs, then a wait

Health Canada‘s starting point for inhaling is a puff or two, preferably of something at or below 10% THC; Willo rates this oil at 98% cannabinoids. Vaped THC shows itself in a matter of seconds or minutes, Health Canada notes, and the full effect may still be up to half an hour away. The agency’s lower-risk guidelines rule out driving for the first 6 hours after cannabis use.
